RE: Que tal fue? / How was it?
ok... the translation of my report :3!
Drawing an analogy between abita's experience and mine... here's my looong story.
BAD THINGS:
- The bracelets & queue: For those fans who didn't attend here's an explanation. Someone from the organization staff had the "brilliant" idea (sarcasm mode on) of handing some "order" bracelets to those who were waiting on the queue since tuesday... They received their bracelets and went home to rest until the day of the concert. There were others like me who have a job and do something with their lives who couldn't get a bracelet and got up early, when it was still dark (around 5 am). We got there and took place in the queue and soon everything was a mess for several reasons: people queue barging, false alarms and people with bracelets. I'll explain further:There was a moment where everyone thought Hyde arrived the theatre and people started accumulating all together in half a block between the theatre and the corner. we couldn't even breathe. After a while the bracelet people started arriving messing up with us who were waiting in in the queue all day and didn't sleep in order to arrive early and enter the venue first. Around 3:30 PM a bigger mess was made because they tried to separate the people with and without bracelets in two diferent rows... no one seemed to get what was happening... there was a lot of pushing, stamps, punching and yelling... Me and my friends decided to go to the end of the queue for safety... We sat and tried to relax... it worked for a while... at 5 PM chaos was unleashed: special force police agents arrived... (something like SWAT) and they were threatening to cancel the concert... the organization staff started trying to order the rows but they couldn't. Then, they changed the orientation of the queue and everyone was running for their lives and a good position in the row, it was like war. Pissed off with the whole situation, a friend and I decided to get out of the queue and wait until the last person of the row entered the theatre. After that, they changed the orientation of the queue again. And there were shouts and people running all around... IT WAS CHAOS FOR REAL!
- The Staff: Also referring to what abita said... we were treated like they were doing a favor to us in bad will. It's all true about the bad faces and the bad treat. Arrogant people who imagine themselves being a little less than Queen Elizabeth just for wearing staff t-shirts and credentials. When the chaos was unleashed, they yelled at us... as if we were trash. They were moving us from one place to another and when my friend and i decided to stop moving they started to realize the mess was at the beginning of the row and not at the end and tried to bring them to the end instead of moving respectful people like me and my friends. Even so, i will never forget the shouts and the way the staff treated us. Excuse me, but they weren't doing me a favor, i was paying for a service and i'm a client. They didn't give me the tickets as a present like a whole bunch of attendees.
- Preferences(between the staff and some attendees): There was a lot of people who entered to the theatre for free... because they needed to fill the venue in order to record the DVD and have a nice view. OK. But I paid for my ticket and i felt abused by "the super staff"... i saw one of the guests at the concert and she looked uninterested and utterly bored... if u need to fill the venue... fill it with people who deserves to be there... who will enjoy it... even if they don't know the songs... And again the arrogance appeared. I read in a friend's facebook page something a staff member commented: "Don't tell me you didn't go because you didn't have money... I'm staff remember? i could get you an invitation".. it made me get angrier. When we were waiting at the row... something curious happened, one of the staff women approached to some little girls who were in the queue too... and if you put it that way, posers (they were like 10 years old... compared to someone who's been listening to hyde's works for that long, maybe more) the staff woman handed them a chilean flag telling them literally: "Write on it... we'll give it to them)... ok.. lucky girls... the point is, if you want to give the band a nice gift... GIVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS JAPANESE OR ENGLISH! PLEASE?... i mean, in the flag they wrote something like... "VAMPS wa sugoi! onegai kaete kudasai!...(without using any kanji according the situation) OUR DREAM IS BECOME TRUE!" It's alright, Hyde has an awful english but if you're gonna do something.. do it right... according to myself (i studied japanese), a friend who studied too, and a japanese friend (japanese for real). they wrote "PLEASE GO!" in the "kaeru" context and without mentioning the redundancy between onegai and kudasai... A shame.
- The big boss: My dear Hito. Rude. The fame got to his head.... I saw him exploding a dozen times... plus, his inexperience betrays him a lot... he's a visionary.. yes.. but he just doesn't know how to behave. ¿WHEN DOES THE PPRODUCER ACT AS THE ARTIST'S WATCHDOG? there he was hitting and pushing fans at the airport, there he was watching the hotel's entrance... like he was the only person worthy of seeing the band... One of the most unusual things i've seen in my life. Hello? There are guards at the hotel who have a job...
- Coat Check: ANOTHER CHAOS... Almost 2 hours to get out clothes back and there were like 2 people giving people their belongings to a crowd of almost 3000 people.
Finally... Noix.
ORGANIZING EVENTS.... YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
I heard a bunch of people saying they're going to customer service and leave a complaint.

GOOD THINGS:
- The concert: It's the best concert i've been to... in my whole life. VAMPS' MUSIC IS PURE QUALITY... they sound exactly like the discs. I loved their games with the crod too, we spent like 10 minutes between the dynamics at the beggining of "Trouble", "Revolution" and "Hunting". They were so nice!... something some artists lack..... that interaction and closeness with the crowd. Sublime... unforgettable.
- Hyde's spanish skills: There's a video somewhere in the web... one of those "forbidden" videos... where he says: "Salgamos de fiesta--- juntos los dos?" (Let's sneak away from the party... just us two") personally... i watch it and roll on my bed dying of cuteness. I feel the same with all the other things he said in spanish... i'm spellbound.
- The crowd: Yes people.. we (chileans) are one of the best crowds in the world... noisy, on fire... i was moved when i stopped singing out loud to stare at HYde and heard all the theatre singing along... and i now they were moved too.... Seeing Hyde smiling about nothing special sometimes = Priceless... i'll have that picture etched on my memory for the rest of my life.
- The Glances: IN my hands.. i had a panties shaped banner with fluorescent letters saying: "DAITE"... AND I KNOW THEY SAW IT... hahhaa it was very shiny... Also i loved what happened to Kami~en~Ciel... HYde staring at her and sending back kisses at her is simply great.
- The company: At the queue, apart from being with very dear friends of mine, i met other people who made my day unfogettable. In such situations you can make very strong and unusual ties.... i'll never forget the faces of the girls i met there... (i already have them on my facebook page) and the moments we spend all together with my friends... yes, i'll always remember November 6th when i see each one of them.
- THe venue: YOU COULD SEE THEM FROM EVERY PLACE OF THE THEATRE.
- HYDE: He has such an incredible way of manipulating crowds... there were only a few times i looked at the band, afraid of missing any of his movements... hip thrustings, the wide open shirt, his tongue, several dances, his spanish sills... etc. He's mesmerizing.
THe concert was so good it made up for all the bad things that happened before... really. I still shiver after the concert when i hear their songs... i close my eyes and see VAMPS on stage.. and Hyde dancing and playing with us... simpli UNFORGETTABLE... I'd like to be still there... seeing them live for the rest of my life.
LONG LIVE VAMPS
