HYDE sounded very muffled and the guitars/bass weren't very loud, either. I don't know... I couldn't really enjoy the show because I wasn't able to really hear anything. I was so disappointed because I waited 3 years and 20+ hours in line for that show.

I had opted to sit in the balcony for this show and I agree that the sound was off. It was hard to hear Hyde over the sound. I hope the DVD turns out better than the live quality.
How did you end up in the 5th row for heaven's sake! You should have been front and center!!! With all you have done for this tour, you surely deserved that! Something was not right........

Just so you guys know, as I've heard people express concern about how the DVD will sound, you shouldn't worry. When a concert is recorded & filmed with the intention of releasing it, they record each instrument & vocal individually at the mixing board, with the intention of mixing it again in the studio. That's why Faith Live sounds so good, but the bonus disc sounds so shockingly bad. That's what the official Vamps cameraman's footage (from the other shows) is going to sound like.

Also, I have a strong suspicion that's why they wanted an opening band. It gives the crew time to test and adjust the equipment to make sure everything's in working order so they don't risk missing anything from the headlining act.

You are correct, I am sure.
The only thing I didn't understand about this show is why they only did 2 songs in the encore instead of the standard 3? Pluz Hyde and K.A.Z literally ran off of the stage at the end. Only Ju-ken hung around to wave goodbye. You would think that they would have played the crowd a bit since this was going to be the recorded show. It is going to have a very abrupt ending if they actually end the DVD with this show.

Haven't you seen Faith Live?

Skip to 4:20. Hyde's gone before the band's even finished playing.

Ohh mann, cathb, I was so pissed that I wanted to leave mid-show and just go home. I mean, I just wasn't able to have a good time because I could hear much of anything at all. This is what happened:

About a half hour before the doors were to open, a security guard approached the guard rail and I spoke with him. He knew my father, as they worked for the same company, and I explained to him that I had a camera. My father called him earlier to let him know that I was bringing a camera, even though no cameras were allowed, but to let me in with it anyway. See, I had brought a camera in order to take pictures of the banner because I wasn't able to do it before I left home (there wasn't enough light outside to do it). I was also hoping to be able to take a picture of VAMPS with the fanbook, but that wasn't allowed of course. ;) I wasn't expecting any special privileges, but I don't have a car, so I had no place to leave it. I explained to the guard why I had the camera and vehemently explained that I had no intention of using it to take pictures inside. I mean, honestly, I have a Canon G9. The thing is huge, so there is NO WAY that I could sneak something like that in, let alone take photos inside without getting caught. He told me it was fine, so I breathed a sigh of relief.

Later, however, a woman came checking our purses. She was like, "Is that a camera?" I was like, "Yes, but I was told by the guard that it was fine." She looked at the guard and asked if it was true. He said, "Yes," but she was like, "No, no...you need to go over there and ask." I went over to where she instructed to go. I explained to the other woman I was instructed to speak to the situation. She was like, "Wait a minute." That minute turned into 5 and when I turned around, the person who I was was like #30 something in line just walked inside. I was like, "S**t." I told the woman, "Look, can you please just tell me where I can check in my camera?" She was like, "Just wait and about a minute later, she took me inside, had my ticket scanned and showed me to the room where the cameras were to be checked in." I frantically began taking the camera out of my purse and gave the woman a $20, so to pay for the cameras.

Before I could blurt out "Keep the change," she said don't worry about it and mumbled something like I wasn't supposed to have to check in the cameras. I think she may have been the one who had spoken to my father earlier that day. I then left and headed for the pit. I looked for my ticket to have it ready, but it was no where to be found. I was like, "WTF?" I stood off to the side saying, "No, no, no..." as I searched through all my crap for my ticket. Tears were streaming down my face after I learned that it wasn't on the floor. I thought, "Holy f***ing s**t!" What if someone had picked it up? I panicked and I didn't know what to do. I told the security guard by the pic that I didn't have my ticket. He was like, "Well, you can't get in without one." Rather than suggest what I could do, or where I could look for my ticket, he went back to where he was standing.

I didn't know what to do at that point, especially since he wasn't willing to help me, so I left. I went back into the lobby, and then decided to retrace my steps. I went back to the room where I dropped off the camera and saw it on the woman's desk. I was relieved and pissed at the same time because I could've avoided the trouble if she had the decency to say, "Hey, you forgot something" or came after me to get it. But apparently, that sort of thing isn't in her job description to do so. I wasted 30 minutes looking for that ticket. By the time I got back to the pit area, it appeared as though the guards stopped letting people through. I was like, "F**k." They then started collecting tickets again. However, it was already too late anyway. My friend had been saving me a spot in front row, but I couldn't get to her. There were too many people.

During the opening band's performance, I was trying to make my way up to front row, but I couldn't get closer. I was stuck in like the 5 row and center. However, as the band got into their 4th song, there were too many people behind me to move, so I couldn't get out. VAMPS came out on stage and as expected, everyone rushed forward, so I was pretty much stuck in the spot I was in the entire night.

You know, I honestly waited too damn long for that concert to just let it be ruined because I couldn't be in front row. Fifth row isn't bad, normally, but I couldn't hear very clearly and spent most of the night straining to see and hear. It was such a waste, for me anyway. About midway through the show, I couldn't take it anymore and wanted to leave, but I couldn't. *sigh* I just hope the DVD will be good.

How did you end up in the 5th row for heaven's sake! You should have been front and center!!! With all you have done for this tour, you surely deserved that! Something was not right........

Skip to 4:20. Hyde's gone before the band's even finished playing.

Well.....I believe I may have watched it once or twice....lol. Along with every other L'arc show and part of the 666 tour. Yeah, I guess it just took me by surprise. It would have been nice for them to wave and toss few picks out though. All of the fans screaming at the end for more and all of that.....

Maybe it's another "Japanese cool-guy" thing.

Probably for the next DVD, a Segway will rise up from the stage on a hydraulic lift, and Hyde will go whizzing off on that.
