Even in HYDEIST this is a big no no and whenever someone says Happy Birthday to him it's almost immediately deleted.
I just feel as fans we should respect his privacy more but yeah that's just my opinion.
Are we allowed to say "Good Morning, Hyde"?
Nevermind.....I don't do the thing like that.

Ha, ha, ha, ha!!!
Actually, I expected a new Hyde picture from you in honor of the occasion. :)

Ah....thanks! The "old" Hyde when he looked 12 instead of 23 as he does now.

Actually seeing Hyde in person up close he actually looks close to his 40's, or I thought he did. I mean he doesn't look "old" but he doesn't look real young either.

Honestly, he looked the same in person as he does in pictures to me, and that was with no shades. Of course, the room was kind of dim at time, but he looked right into my eyes and smiled at me.... (oh wait, that sounds kinda homo-erotic).....but I got a really good look at him.
Also, I forgot to mention (back when we were originally recounting our tales), that he had to stop me to prevent me from forgetting my CD cover. I was in a bit of a daze. Fortunately they had somebody right behind us to prevent us from falling off the step (cos as you turned around @ Sonar there was a step down right behind you, that dazed people would've fallen over repeatedly).

On the subject of rather its moral or not to have birthday threads, like cathb said, his revealing his birthdate sort of shows he doesn't have too much of a problem. I think the reason it is deleted from HYDEIST is because of how spammish it is to have threads of something that will be duplicated a million times over. On more active boards, the problem of people posting the same thread and message a thousand times over is a real problem, so to prevent that, they taboo certain subjects that will result in numerous duplicate threads and messages.
I will give you that HYDE doesn't and never has liked to talk about his age. Funny thing, I've never known HYDE to enjoy talking about himself much in general. When the conversation becomes about the music or the tour, you can see him getting pumped into the convo, but when it becomes about his personal life, he always seems a bit bored and annoyed.

I'll give you that the difference between his true looks and the PhotoShopped images is rather obvious, but I still found him extremely young looking in Baltimore. I think the main thing is that he doesn't look as much like a celebrity in person. More visible imperfections, less makeup, and no PhotoShop to aid in brightening the the tone, which will often make people appear older than they are (or in this case, moreso their age than they normally look)

Hahahaha thanks!
As for Hyde talking about himself, watch this stalkerish reporter make him visibly uncomfortable:
This is a great interview and it really makes it clear why Hyde comes to America even though he's not a million selling act here.

I used to post Happy Bday for him too. In K.A.Z's Bday some mexican fans threw a sort of party in his honor, we baked a cake and all... but since I got private messages from fans that have a negative opinion about Birthday threads (that wishing him a good happy long life was disrespectful) I decided I would not do it anymore. Not because I think they are right, but because I find very bothersome and tiring to have arguments about that with such fans, we could spend weeks discussing and speculating about his reasons, but... what for? We love Hyde, we don't need an excuse to be happy about him being alive and wish him the best! n_n
He looks incredibly beautiful in person, and warm!
BTW VAMPkito. I think you mightbe right about the multiple spam posts, and Twinkies make great asian artists Bday cakes X-D
Oh sorry! That was me on the last post, HEDELEX

I tripped down the steps XD Not because I was dazed, but because I was looking back talking to someone and tripped down both steps lololol
Regarding birthday threads: I heard they are deleted from Hydeist. However, I haven't had J or any other staff members yell at me to delete this so I guess it's okay here XD
Hyde is weird in that there are a lot of things people know about him but he pretends that we don't know (birthday).
