So maybe thats just it got confused since it my first time ordering from HMV
---------------------
Japan edition is generally used by both online retailers and auction sites to mean the version that was officially released in Japan, in L'Arc's case by sony/ki:oon and VAMPS by VAMPROSE and so on depending on the merchandise. but it will be the real deal, not a copy.
it also differentiates them from other Official Asian or Overseas versions, which are cheaper usually but cannot be sold in Japan. says so on the label if you ever get one. i have an official korean version of heavenly because i couldn't get a Japanese edition at the time. it looks the same except it also had a lyrics sheet written in korean.
i've noticed that YesAsia is the retailer that will most often sell the other Asian versions. some others occasionally stock a few overseas or European versions too. and some of those have english lyrics, i've heard. ^ ^

no problem. we all learn by trial and error. i just figure if someone else can benefit from my trial by fire, why not share the info. eventually it all comes back and someone else has info that you need in return.
oddly enough, my daughter in law just called because an old friend of theirs, gaming friend, had been getting into jrock, especially laruku, and remembered i liked L'Arc and was wanting info on where to buy it with an english site. so all of our chats here are info that can be passed on beyond our borders, so to speak.^ ^

i have Tofu SMILE,AWAKE and FAITH.
i think you'd find that ki/oon and HAUNTED Records are both subsidiaries of SONY.
when you start down the path of what label belongs to what parent company and how does this management company fit in there and why do these employees list as one company on Ki/oon, a different one on HAUNTED and yet another on VAMPROSE, it's a real headache. in reality, there are probably only 3or 4 or less major corporations that are behind all of the recording industry in Japan. not much more world-wide. same with any industry in today's world where a cheese company can be owned by the same parent group that makes electronic equipment, clothing, furniture, tires etc.

Yeah, Ki/oon is a branch of SONY, where L'Arc, acid android, and tetsu. And then, HAUNTED was a branch of Ki/oon. I think HYDE had HAUNTED set up for him. As for the change to VAMPROSE, HYDE wanted to go indie so he could "do whatever he wanted." I remember last year he has said things in interviews like, "and we want to release an album soon. I can say this now without getting in trouble" lol

RE: US Document Photobook!
Thanks everyone for letting me knw about the truth behind the 666 DVD cover. It's sad that they didn't make it a real video DVD for sale because I saw it on yutube and it's awesome...even the live version of Masquerade is the best I ever heard. ^^
I prefer to buy stuff in 'Japan release' because they ten to have extras like DVD or stuff like that. The same happens with anime [if you buy them] because the US/Europe releases tend to be edited, or low quality for not making them look the same as the original. So I think that as long as the seller lets me know the version of what I'm buying, I'm okay with it.

has anyone purchased this book? I'm thinking about it but it's expensive. Were there lots of pictures from the Las Vegas show in it? That's the only show I went to and am still searching for pictures from so I can scrap book.
