There another service .. tenso.. that allows you to use your own credit card to pay. They provide you with the japanese address so the item gets shipped to them and then they ship it to you but you use your own credit card and their fees are much cheaper than celga or somewhere like that

The sentence that bothers me (from the translator I used) is "I will limit the product launch to Japan." I need to run it through a couple of others and see if they get the same feel to it or not. Different translators always seem to come up with slightly different wording.

Maybe there is going to be a Japanese Version and US Version?

That would be awesome but for some reason i dont see it happening >__< although you can never tell with hyde XD he always suprises us ^_^

oh f***.... maybe they won't be selling it on other sites? In the beginning of the description, they talk about the special screensaver/cell phone wallpaper as a bonus only available to those who pre-order at Catchbon. So I interpreted it as like, you could pre-order anywhere you want, but Catchbon is the only place that has this giveaway... And so when it mentioned that the product will only be mailed inside of Japan in the caution notes at the end (as Cathb mentioned), I just thought that meant they're just saying they won't take international orders, so we'll have to get it somewhere else. (I hope I haven't lost any of you...)

But then, I looked back at the product page for MV 13, past MVs, and "a Paris" "casual" version because I wanted to compare the product pages of them since MV 13 was mail-order only, while the past MVs and a Paris casual ver. was available everywhere. I noticed that there were the same caution notes for MV 13, but none for the past MVs or a Paris. And so, I am starting to think now, that it is quite possible that they do not intend of selling it anywhere else but at their site.

But, seeing how CDJapan started pre-orders for MV 13 in August when pre-orders on Catchbon began at the end of June, I think there might still be the possibility of CDJapan coming through and saving our butts in the end... Since we have until 10/5 to pre-order, I think I'm going to hang tight a little longer...

God, it amazes me that they will do that because they (as in Sony Magazines) know we international fans exist. Journalists followed VAMPS and attended Seattle and Portland concerts, and we've been "sending our mail" to MV and many were published!!

I can understand why they are hesitant about opening up the FC to international fans since preparing English newsletters and shipping them out around the world such seems pricey, but this is a book no different from a lot of other photo books they have sold so I don't think they have any reason to limit this as "by mail-order only product."

Watch... after I post this long rant, they're going to start pre-orders everywhere, leaving me embarrassed for having written this long thing haha.

I noticed MV 13 and the up-coming L'Arc~en~Ciel's calendar descriptions say explicitly at the beginning they are "by mail order only" and it does not say a word about "mail-order only" for the USA photo book, just start with the pre-order bonus. (I think that was another reason why I initially assumed it would be available everywhere). So now I'm just confused and don't know what to think. lol.

Last year I asked to he about Monthly Vamps 1, because only was for sale by sony magazine
(only Japan at that time), and I wanted to know if they will to sell to abroad.
And he only said me:

"It is a photo book... I think. We are not making it, Sony music is. You can buy it in bookstores in Japan. You may be able to buy it from CDJapan after that, or maybe YesAsia.

Thanks for all of this. What you said is the way that I interpreted what was happening also. Sadly.....
Like I said, I am going to wait about another week before I spend the extra money to get it from Japan. Won't be the first time I'm getting soaked and probably won't be the last.
But now I do wonder if they will offer two versions? This one and then one later (perhaps in English) and slightly different? That way they may hope to get an overlap in sales from the fans. Since the tour was here, they have to know that we would want to buy a copy.
Some days you just want to kick managment.........

Even if they are releasing two version at least they should let us know T_T. *sighs*
