Wasn't "Anemone" written for Megumi? Or was that just fan speculation?
I know "Sweet Dreams" sounds rather intimate, but I can see it being about the fans (especially if the new single has lots of tour footage with it).

Well, I really don't think the lyrics are directed to a certain person. In my point of view, the lyrics are quite intimate. He talks quite openly to his fans about his feelings (even though he's a very private person). That's much love and trust, I think. But, of course, no one but him can tell for sure.

RE: Otakon Q&A
Thanks for Posting the Q&A Tokio!!
btw...it was nice meeting you, and standing with you in line, for the time I was not handing out glowsticks lol.
So ya... I attended the panel, but I forgot to wear earplugs to the concert, and I guess my ears can't take it so much anymore. I missed all the anwers cuz my ears were still ringing very badly from the concert and they spoke so softly. I was able to hear Ai's translations, but I missed the guys actual silly and sweet words. Awww!
I was so stoked when (my partner in crime)~Kim's/Haidoist's question was read. I was so happy for her! And then Hyde asked her a question, that ofcourse I couldn't hear either, but I knew he talked to her~ that was so cool!
I loved the crowd's reactions to everything. There was a lot of "aaaawwwing" going on. It made the fans all seem so sweet and kind and all that gooshy stuff.
Being that I couldn't hear much, I just tried to enjoy their presense at the panel, and their facial expressions and reactions to questions. I still enjoyed it all, especially Hyde's sign language for "flying", I got that one!
From a perspective of a non fan who attended(my husband): He said it seemed to him that they wern't putting a lot of thought into the answers, like not really true answers. He thought they we're maybe a bit tired, or confused by some of the questions, or were answering them as to what the fans would want to hear.
Either way, I was happy to attend!

To me the key phrase is "when the trip is over". Implying, when he gets home.
"So beautiful
I've never seen that place
When the trip is over
I want to go with you"
He's back from "the trip" but he wants to go again with her/them (so they can see "that place" too). Unless you think he wants to take the Seattle fans back to Baltimore?
Anyway, I'm done.

(07-19-2009, 10:31 AM)Noctilca Wrote: I just remembered a question that I don't think got mentioned here yet (I hope I'm remembering this right...it almost seems like a dream now...):
What's your favorite anime?
Hyde: Evangelion. He asked if we had seen the new Evangelion movie yet, and everyone shouted that it's not out here yet. I believe he said that it was worth it to buy plane tickets to Japan to see it? Then he said it was "f---ing great".
Kaz: Death Note.
ETA: Oh, and I can't remember the question exactly (probably something like "why do you like to come to the US?"), but I remember Hyde saying that he wanted an American girlfriend (cue lots of fangirly screams), and Kaz saying that he loves America.
ETA2: I just remembered what I *think* was the first question - what would you like to do that you've never been able to do before? After much deliberation, Hyde said he'd like to make soba noodles from scratch. The crowd started cheering, which I think Hyde thought was funny, because he put his hands together and held them up in the air from side to side (like a victory pose). I can't remember Kaz's answer, unfortunately, although I think it might have been food-related, too? I can't remember...
Yess!! I forgot those. As to the last one I think K.A.Z said he wanted to make a plate then break it, or something like that.
@jrockisjoujou: It was nice to meet you too! Thanks for everything you (and Haidoist) have done! ^^
And yeah, I don't think all of their answers are serious (like, I highly doubt HYDE came here for an American girlfriend). Though, I've read other interviews with L'Arc where HYDE's answers seem pretty out there and random. So I guess it's just how he is.
It seems some of the questions were hard for them to answer so they may have just thrown out some answers since they didn't have forever to really think about it.
I hope they had fun though since there was a lot of laughing.

They showed this on cable here in Maryland a few years back.
Ken had me laughing so hard, and my friends and I have been making jokes about "mango" for quite some time now.
Thanks for sharing these links.....can't wait for 2011.....ggaaaaaaaa.
You forget how dorky these guys can be when you stick them together. But I agree that lots of times it is just random stuff that pops into their heads that comes out of their mouths. Or they are trying to see how silly they can sound. They've said and done some pretty wacky things over the years which just makes you love them more.
You figure that as many times as they have been interviewed or featured on shows that they have to come up with something. Otherwise they would sound pretty boring if they kept giving the same answers over and over.

I kept thinking sweet dreams is for his child. Since he has to travel so much he made a song for him-her so they wouldn't be separate. He has a life beside the fans ^^.

An answer from VAMPS I guess :-p
Well, yeah I meant afterwards...I believe the people who got their questions read got some autographed merchandise?
And Billkwando - I believe "Sweet Dreams" is about the fans.
They just got the fan they were selling at warped, not autographed

Ah, okay - I thought the Otakon staff had said something about autographed merchandise, but that's still cool.
