btw~ anyone know of a cheap hotel in SF that i can stay the 22nd in? my hotel is booked that day TT I just called and since I'm arriving a day earlier most hotels are booked now >_<

Jazmin,
I wasn't directing my comment to either you or Tracy, as I know you both have worked hard for this tour. In addition, I know full-well that hundreds of people are traveling from all over to see the San Francisco show. Honestly, I really hate having to post information that tells people, "I'm sorry you can't meet HYDE/VAMPS even though it's your life's goal to do so." It really, really, really sucks having to do that, especially since I know what this means to people - to us.
When I told the guest user that we should be grateful that VAMPS have chosen to come to the U.S. in the first place, I did so because it's true. It's understandable that people are going to be angry and there is nothing that I can do to prevent that. Rather, I am trying to remind people that we are ALL lucky to have them come to the U.S., and even more fortunate if we're able to even go to a concert. Many people are not even able to do that. So, in some sense, these "autograph sessions" should just be considered an added bonus and an incentive for those who've not yet purchased tickets, to do so. As you may already know, west coast tickets aren't selling, so hopefully this autograph session will "motivate" people to purchase the tickets. I really appreciate your concerns and I am not without understanding of yours' (and many others') situation. I hope you'll be able to work something out so that you are in fact able to attend the session.
- Heather
Yeah, this sucks big time. But I've gotten over the fact that I won't be able to attend. I just hope LA works out better for me and everyone else. Because I AM eternally grateful that I will get to see VAMPS perform.....eternally poor, too, after this tour......lol
I guess the irony of the situation is that those of us who have been busting our asses to help promote VAMPS won't be able to attend but the "unmotivated" fan will. That is what stings big time. And I realize that they have schedules, plans are tough to make, etc. Just like everyone else who is emotionally wounded. But we just need to vent. And you know that and no one is blaming anyone because that is just the way things worked out.
Ok...so maybe I'm not over it as much as I thought... :) .....just pass the bottle of iodine please.
Now, I am over it.....perspective here....I am sure there are people who are reading this forum who cannot attend even one show while I am selling my soul to the credit card company to attend 4. They are thinking that they would be happy to attend even one concert, let alone a meet and greet. I am disappointed, yes. But I am also blessed and thankful that I get to see VAMPS at all.
Everytime I read I my post I think I sound like a spoiled brat. I do want to apologize for that. Like I said, I am VERY happy that I get to go to the shows.....meet and greet or not.
But I am disappointed that my hopes of getting my cd signed in San Francisco is not going to happen. But in my case, there is always LA IF the date and time works out....since my optimism is not at a high point with that happening anymore.
As for the latent "fans" who may attend the concert only because of the meet & greet opportunity, I have a message for you. If any of the VAMPS signed merchandise shows up on Ebay, I am coming to get you!!!

RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
I just changed my hotels around so we can arrive in LA on the 30th but we are taking a train so the earliest we could be in LA would be around 10-11 am i think. I am very happy also I am seeing VAMPS again but what bothers me about all of this isn't that im nto getting to go and im surely not at all mad at vamps or J at all because unlike the promotors they actually care about the feelings of us fans.
Its that the promotors are so disorganized and think everyone can just jump and run whenever they decide to make changes. I mean they announce the date a week before the show?? Surely they knew the people who were flying would have already bought their plane tickets by now but i guess as long as people buy the tickets they don't really care if we are able to attend the meet and greet or not..
Its like here you have a chance to meet hyde and kaz but you have to have a ticket but we aren't going to tell you when it is but buy the ticket anyway and pray its on a day you can attend and if not oh well that was another ticket sold for us.
Sorry I'm just not at all happy with the promotors right now...
L'arc~en~Ciel 20th L'Anniversary was amazing!!
THANK YOU VAMPS!

And I agree with you 200% Its the promoters not VAMPS or J's fault. And I don't think the promoters give two flying ****s about fans, just their paycheck at the end of the tour.

RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
As excited as I am for the SF signing, I do feel it kinda dogging people too...
My friend just bought a ticket today, but now knowing that VAMPS related things are only being signed, the only thing she has is one of the postcard sized fliers I'm going to give her and she and I are wondering if that is going to suffice. Do you guys think they'd sign it?

I think it's all about the place where the M&G is going to be held...maybe the venue didn't allow an autograph session, so VAMPS have to meet their fans somewhere else.
About the session in LA, Ai twitted: "And we will autograph session too in LA - maybe on 30th,, we are finalizing the details."
I really feel for you guys...i'm going all the way from Chile and i'm still not attending any autograph session. Now i'm trying to convince myself that meet and greetings are overrated haha Anyway, I wish you will be able to meet VAMPS, without spending too much money and time *hugs*

All the others are the DAY OF the concert so what makes San Francisco so special? I mean I'm happy to get to see Kazu in concert but damn...I knew there was a reason I wasn't getting excited over the meetgreet/autograph session. Good planning. You cannot tell me they knew about these before they were announced. When I mean THEY I mean the "promoters" I CANNOT just drop down an extra $250 just to change my NON REFUNDABLE flight ticket. Sorry some of us have jobs and/or don't have the money. Thanks for telling us so close to the date.
Sorry I'm just angry and not just the autograph session. Normal crap has went on in my life today and this just added fuel to the fire. I'm not mad at VAMPS it is not their doing.
You've already read my frustrations....lol
I think it is just we are all so disappointed. And we need to vent.
The promoters may not have thought about all of this before hand. We all bought our tickets within the first 15 minutes that they went on sale. So the hard-core group was covered. Managment/promoters needed to reel in more fish. So they thought up the meet and greets. They were not announced until much later on....and then it keeps coming in pieces. We still don't know about the LA M & G.
So it really is short notice for them to get all of the paperwork and advertising done for these considering when all of this started. Our big gripe is when it is happening because we have to travel and cannot afford to change plans. But if that is truly when the store/band could connect then we are stuck with it.
Well I think it would make sense to have it the day of the concert because then VAMPS would have time to rest some before having to deal with the masses. But...what can we do!? I don't think it is management that has much to do with the autograph sessions dates. But I'm not sure.
iceybabes if your interrested i can get KAZ to sign something for you at the mmet and greet and we could meet up in line or something at the concert

RE: UPDATE: S.F. Autograph session
Thanks to the late news I just paid 474 bucks to change my flight tickets, awesome (note the sarcasm) ...Sorry I'm PISSED, and I need to vent. (Yes I'm eternally grateful to VAMPS and J for this, that's why i'm breaking the bank for them. Now I'm just freaking out:
Question: Will everyone get a chance? Because I think I will just slit my wrist if I wasted that much money and then get NOTHING TT_TT
Any idea HP?

The meet 'n greet is on a first-come, first-serve basis. I believe there may be a limit on the number of people that can attend, but no official word on that. The autograph session is only going to last an hour, so I'm assuming however many people they can fit in that time frame, will obtain an autograph. Last time I spoke with Ai on the number of people, I was told that it varied on the location. However, that was quite some time ago, so I'm not really sure. I hope this information was somewhat helpful to you.
