Anyone traveling inexpensively from the Northwest?

If so, talk to me!

I was initially all excited about going to this and even hoped to catch some of the other Jrock screenings, too, but became discouraged by the airfares, which, since announcement of the screening, have been almost twice the cost of the usual specials. If I spend that much money on a delayed-time screening and then I have a chance to see VAMPS live, I'll wish I had the money toward that, instead.

So, if you're trying a road trip from or passing through the Seattle area and would welcome another fan to share expenses, talk to me right away!

Keep in mind that it is Anime Expo weekend. There will be no hotel space in the area. Plus anything around will have higher rates. We are driving up Saturday to see SID and driving back up Sunday to see VAMPS because of the hotel situation.

I think you are wise to save your money for VAMPS live. Even though you would like to see the recorded show. If I didn't live close enough to make driving feasible, I wouldn't be going.

Saw the SID viewing yesterday and it was great! Driving back up to LA today to see VAMPS.

If you live in the area and are still on the fence about whether to go, hop off of it and get your online tickets. Let's fill the theater in support of VAMPS.

THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

The live was spectacular. New songs, old songs, Hyde songs........ Very loud songs. You felt like you were part of the audience.

It opened with the curtains and the audience and a ticking timeline being projected. You knew what would happen when it reached "666".

Hyde was wearing special contact lenses which made his eyes looks totally white under the blue lights. Everyone looked fit and they were all in great form. Lots of movement......the Hyde dance appeared again.

The promoters were wonderful. They ran around the theater before the show began urging the crowd to participate. Lots of joining in from the fans who attended.

Hyde mentioned a world tour and said "See you there" as he looked at the camera. He also mentioned the Live Viewing and said "hello" in about 7 or 8 different languages.

I cannot wait for this fall when hopefully they will once again grace our shores.

I also wanted to mention that Heather spent a lot of time promoting VAMPS at AX and at the theater. She deserves a big round of appreciation.

People were asked not to record any of the program, but Hyde's MC is up on YouTube. There is another audio out there, too.

I hope actions like these do not discourage the promotors from offering future viewings.

According to the VAMPS official website, it looks like the French broadcast didn't go so smoothly. Refunds are being issued due to an equipment failure. I feel sorry for any fans who traveled a long distance and spent a fortune only be disappointed.

I went to the live viewing and had an awesome time!! Also an unforgettable event happened that I thought wouldn't happened to me!! I feel sad to hear that the live viewing for the French fans didn't go so well!! Hope that Vamps decide to do another live viewing world wide, for all their fans around the world!!
