I was telling my fiancé about our Facebook/Myspace ads, and he said... "What about Google ads?" It hadn't even occurred to me!

So, I decided to set up a Google AdWords account. These are the little ads that show up to the right when you do a Google search. You can set your own budget and spend as small of an amount as you want, but they recommend that you spend a minimum of $50/mo. The higher the budget that you set for the ad, the more often it will show up.

Here's the ad I made:


I said my limit was $50 for now, since it's linked to my bank account. (*gulp*) Soooo... if anyone wants to donate (anything helps!) you can PayPal me at christinaceleste@gmail.com and I'll be very grateful! Depending on the amount of donations I get, I can increase the budget for the ad.

Edit: The ad is running now! I have seen it with my own eyes on Google! :D

I agree. We are pooling our ideas and resources to make this work. Also, (sadly) we are promoting a band that most people have never even heard of.

Huh, that's a good idea, I never thought of that. xD Although personally, I know, I never click those links because half the time I feel like they'll lead me to spam or something, but I know my dad sees those and clicks them. |D;;; So hopefully it will work!

Yeah, that's why I put "HYDE and K.A.Z." in there - hopefully people will see it when they're searching for L'arc stuff or whatever. Also, I got to pick the specific searches that the ads will shows up on - so they don't just show up for "Vamps" or "Vamps USA", they'll also show up for "hyde jrock" and "oblivion dust" and "l'arc en ciel" and a bunch of other things. :)

And I hope that my ad doesn't look too spammy/scammy - I think it looks like an ad for something legit. I hope. *crosses fingers*
We'll see what happens with it soon!

Sorry for the double-post, but I just wanted to say that the Google ads are running now! I did some test searches and saw my ad there! How exciting! :D

wonder why i don't get any ads on Google?

Do you have an ad blocker? And they might not show up every time.

Yeah I had to turn my ad blocker off to see my own ads, haha
They're showing up a lot more frequently than I thought though! I'm quite happy with it!
