Sometimes they're prohibited. However, it's not hard to sneak them in, especially if the security guards are doing a half-@ss job.

No 90's Madonna cone-bra wearing!
Edit: Dammit! Now "Vogue" is stuck in my head. That's what I get for making dumb jokes...

RE: CONCERT-GOING SAFETY
i know a lot of northerners and people from the east coast will be going to the las vegas show. if you haven't been there before, vegas gets pretty warm in the summer. i'm an arizona native, so nevada's heat is practically nonexistent to me XD however, if you're not used to extremely hot weather and plan to wait outside hours before the show starts, make sure you have lots of water with you and a hat or vizor or something that will cover your head. and also bring sunblock! ^^ and if you want to get fancy, bring a squirt bottle, too |D wear light colored clothes as well :3
i don't think we'll have to worry about moshpits at a VAMPS concert because that's music i wouldn't mosh to, i won't lie XDDD when dir en grey came to tempe, there weren't many moshpits, and when one was started, we just gave the people weird looks. however, when another one was started, we gave each other space so we wouldn't hurt anybody ^^ so if one does happen to grow, try to give people space and help each other up if someone gets knocked down, and... that's all i've got for safety stuff ^^;
i hope that helps anybody going from the east to the west in the summer! power to you guys!

I'm coming from Michigan to Las Vegas. And I'll tell ya; Michigan can get cooold. Like -20F in the winter and it doesn't usually get in the 90's much here; hell it snowed in April and last week it was in the low 50's. So yes, I need help from you Western natives! xD

i think i may bring a bag full of water bottles and some squirt bottles (seriously, water bottles are GOD when it's just too hot XD) to pass out, but it'll depend on what i can bring with me to vegas ^^ or maybe just one squirt bottle and have pass it around or squirt people if they want it XD of course, i'll be trying my best to save money for the show, so they'll be the cheapest of the cheap if i do this XD;
i could never live in that kind of environment .____." i... i think i would die XD

I think I might bring an umbrella. I wonder if I can find my Mister Fan. It's a spray bottle with a fan on it and you can mist your face.

I think the water bottles and small umbrellas are a good idea. Also, if people are grouping together, take turns in line. Take breaks in close by hotel rooms. Get out of the sun and give your body a chance to cool down if you can.

A bit of advice: I've heard it can get pretty humid back east during the summer. If that's the case, then for those who've never been to the west, the heat here is very different. Los Angeles and especially Vegas have desert climates, which means that it gets very hot and very dry here during the summer. Temperatures in L.A. have reached up to and over 100 (Fahrenheit). The sun's rays can be very penetrating here, so sun block and water is a MUST.
San Francisco can get pretty hot in the summer too. San Diego is also know to have temps to well over a 100 during the summer. So yeah...please use common sense and be prepared. No matter which show you go to, please keep yourself hydrated and wear sunblock! Getting sunburned sucks and it can be serious.
I also recommend checking out weather.com a few days before arriving to the show. It's pretty useful in terms of getting an idea how the weather may be that day (it's pretty accurate for my area).
Much VAMPS-love,
H.P.
