I love VAMPS...*omv* *gets excited for the tour all over again* As for those girls, yeah...it's quite interesting why some women speak like that, but anyVAMPS, I was paying more attention to HYDE & K.A.Z than them, so yeah...Thanks for sharing!!

I loved how they transform when they perform @_@ totally different people!
it's the "polite feminine" voice. useful for sales-help, secretaries and tv interviews with men present. lol unfortunately, some ladies carry it over to their singing voices too. i really appreciate women who can sing deep and gutsy as opposed to kindergarten cute. xp (Morning Musume, i'm looking at you. what are those girls wearing? pj's anf thigh-high boots?? did anyone watch the table-tennis match between Perfume and the MM girls? shoulda let VAMPS play too! XDD)
loved VAMPS performance, just wish it had been longer. this WILL be good live. they all look pretty good to me, even if Ju-ken's hair isn't flame red and black. :DD

Yeah, Ju-ken is awesome. I'm so excited to see him. As for the "polite feminine" voice, I study a little bit about post-war Japan and all that it entails. The idea of Japan's "trauma" after the bombings is really interesting. I'd recommend the article I read about it, but I can't think of the name right now. It kind of explains why Japan has an obsession with "all things cute." I'll get back to you if I can think of the name. ;)
Oh yeah, I don't think you're the oldest VAMPS fans. My mom likes them too and she will be attending the L.A. show with me. *lol*

i'd read various things as well, which leads me to some of my conclusions regarding politeness and the woman's role therein.
unless your mama is past 54, i think i still will be a charter member. my daughter is going with me (not the other way around! ^ ^) too, but, she's probably a few years older than most of this forum's members as well. as Hyde says . "music's breaking down all the barriers.." - well, that includes age. though i don't think there's anything odd about a 50+ yr old liking the music of a couple of 40 yr olds. practically the same generation if you think about it. and there are no age restrictions on good taste. ^_~ b
