The live
The venue inside was absolutely amazing. Small, ornate and down right beautiful. The outside left much to be desired.
The crowd was small but energetic. VAMPS was amazing....as usual. It was the first time I got to watch K.A.Z when I moved to the back from the front after I got elbowed in the mouth by the not-so-nice girl in front of me. Ju-ken must have drank a 5 hour energy drink before he went on stage. Hyde must have shared it with him.
Jesus Christ was played along with Rumble and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I don't remember which songs they dropped for those. I don't always remember the setlist.
K.A.Z did one of the MCs and mentioned how they had gone to San Francisco to record Beast and how he liked the clam chowder.
Others can mention more details. My plane was delayed by 4 hours and I am pooped. Gonna get to bed early.....
They still had plenty of merchandise so there should be enough to go around. WARNING - I just looked at my t-shirt which is supposed to be a size medium. It looks more like a Japanese small or a child's medium. It is quite small and not a medium by usual shirt size standards.
Jay appeared to find all of the karaoke winners this time.

RE: The live
Thanks for your quick report, cathb ! Seems the American venues are not too large so far? How many people do you think were there? I am panicking a bit because The Grande Arche at Paris is a huge hall .
Good that this time the winners were found!!! Hope to hear from them .

RE: The live
the live was awesome!! I was standing at the front row, around 5-6 people from the stage. from where i was standing, i can clearly see Ju-ken!! he's soo cool! and Hyde's head, but not KAZ :(
I freaked out when I saw Hyde. He's so gorgeous with bleached hair.
People at the front were crazy (including me lol) but the bad thing is that they kept pushing each other....
after about 10+ songs i gave up and went to the back row so I can actually Hyde and KAZ. Because most of the time I can only see Hyde's bleached hair and no KAZ!! D:
from what i remember, they played (not in order):
Devil Side (first song)
Rumble
Get Up
Revolution
Samsara
My First Last
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Redrum
Euphoria
Piano Duet
Memories
Angel trip
Trouble
Dolly
Jesus Christ
Love addict
Sex Blood Rock n roll
Hunting
Midnight Celebration(last song)
but ....I don't remember them playing THE PAST!!! It's my favorite song from BEAST album!!!!!! D: or is it just me who forgot
no encore..?
Overall, live was super awesome!!!! Next time I have to be at the front row

RE: The live
@roku66: The encore was LOVE ADDICT, REVOLUTION, and MIDNIGHT CELEBRATION.
It seems like HYDE's MCs were similar to those in L.A., but I was glad to hear K.A.Z say a few words too, even if they were mostly about clam chowder, haha. Something else worth mentioning -- one Japanese girl in a hooded striped prison uniform crowd surfed towards the end of the show to the front. I was surprised she made it that far!

RE: The live
They definitely didn't play MEMORIES. It was a song I was really looking forward to hearing too.

they didnt? We didnt get MEMORIES in LA. I was pretty damn sad... :(
*listening to it right now*
I hope they didn't refrain from playing any songs that has a lot of Japanese in them just because they are performing in America. -_-
