Please read http://dekiruhito.com or other L'Arc interviews, for L'Arc translation of interviews where they speak of recording singles or album work.
The only song I know they have re-recorded fully was Natsu no Yuustu
other songs they can just re-record an instrument if needed. Look at Niji
album version and single version. Only difference is hyde's poem on top of
the guitar solo is louder on the album mix compared to the single version. That's it.
..but I've made my point. I don't care if you think I'm wrong. This is a Vamps
forum anyway. I might be A Vamps Addict but I've been a Laruku Addict
for way longer, so I generally know their recording process. Just watch the
SMILE DVD even, you can see them building up the tracks.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong, just that it's the norm for most artists, and them not doing it is a matter of personal preference.
