RE: The Goods
That's not fair! :( Why are they going to sell more goods just for Japan? I really want those earphones and fangpierce!

For anyone who went to the lives last year did they sell decent crap? I think I remember someone saying earlier that it wasn't good quality stuff? I just want a cool shirt at the very least :/
The shirts weren't at all "crap" but in comparison to the Japanese t-shirts, they were pretty mediocre. All they had was the VAMPS lip logo from the first album on a black background with the tour dates on the back. It looked more like something that you would use to promote a club or (junior) high school sports team as opposed to a rock band.
To be perfectly fair, though, the Japanese shirts weren't exactly "fantastic" either. Not like the FAITH or 666 merchandise, but there was definitely a lot more thought and effort in terms of design and content.
EDIT - Oh damn it. =X - Okay, not to sound particularly bitchy and I know we've gone through this a thousand times, but...

Yeah.
Way to keep it work/school-appropriate, guys. :C
===========
in some venues last year they had hot pink and neon green shirts as well as wrist bands i think. i know they had oink in NY because there were a couple of women at Baltimore who had gotten them.
and too, they had none at WARPED, supposedly sold out what they had with them. (a friend who didn't check the goods in NY until after said a lot of stuff was gone before she got there. ) had black ones back in Baltimore but none when they went out west. if you look back in the archives there was a good bit of dismay. they had those cute color changing cups from Las Vegas on.
what pissed some folks off was they started selling the US goods online, but to the Japanese fans. was just as hard to get for those who say wanted a shirt when they had been out. oh, and part of the reason they didn't have them for Seatle and Portland was they got lost i believe.
@VAMPSkito, as for the back of the BEAST shirt, why are you surprised? this tour is all about suggestive behavior. listen to Hyde's mcs.
but like last year, that will probably be toned down for the world tour. Japanese fans are used to that and those shirts wouldn't be considered odd in a big portion of the world. the US is still geared towards conservatism in some areas when it comes to sexuality, as you've unfortunately seen firsthand. >.<
just do like Harumi, sort of, and wear a vest that covers the back or under an unbuttoned shirt.
there used to be pics on the website engrish.com of babies and small children in Japan wearing tees that would be banned in the US just because they said "f*ck" on them.
edit: oh yeah, i forgot about the freaking BOTTLE OPENERS!! i admit that i got one because it was cheap and so not something i would ever use. a corkscrew? yeah maybe.
and the pamphlet really was poor quality compared to the 2 Japanese ones last year.

I bought those cups! Only kept the pink one, though.
Yes, they said the merchandise was lost in the trip.
The conservatism makes me remember that one time when my grandpa went to a church meeting wearing a T-shirt borrowed from my uncle. He arrived wearing a jacket, and at some point he took off the jacket and people just wouldn't stop staring... because it had Beavis and Butthead in thongs printed all over the front. He took a sharpie pen and drew larger underwear on them to make them more decent... to no avail X-D
OMFV! I love engrish.com !!

One question: how offensive is it to wear reversed peace sign tee in the U.S.? I'm currently living mainly in L.A. and friends I met here so far told me that it is rude to make the reversed peace sign. But I really like this new T-shirt and wanna have one. But if I have one, I'm gonna wear it in L.A. and I want to understand if it's ok to do so or I have to be careful about it...
Really appreciate your advice :) Thanks
wow, I didn't even know that was offensive o.O
the only comments I get are people confusing when I make a VAMPS sign with the peace sign...but they're not offended, just confused XD
or, if people are like my dad, they'll tell you, "that's not a ''VAMPS" sign, that's a "victory" sign" lol
EDIT~~~~~~
okay so I just looked this up (on Wikipedia, so don't quote me too much)
---------------------------------------
"V Sign" with Palm facing the signer
Insulting – largely restricted to the Australian, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
The insulting version of the gesture (with the palm inwards) is often compared to the offensive gesture known as "the finger".
---------------------------------------
did not know that. Learn something new everyday I guess..

I didn't know that, either . Offensive? Omg. I know a family round the corner where the father is a rapper. His little children are doing the reversed peace sign quite often and just think it's cool *shrug*.

Yeah, I saw that immediately... too bad. I would wear the tee if it was without the back print... It's summer here in Germany and there is no chance I would wear something over it to cover the... lady .
And... sorry for mentioning Gackt so often, but on his YFC tour goods page there is a YFC shirt with the print "F*ck me" on the back. Wouldn't wear that as well... I'd rather have a tee without any back print at all...

at least it's some of the same goods, just not nearly the quantity of items to choose from. but that's been the case the two previous years too.
but the goods will also probably change for the world tour as all of these tees have domestic dates on them. don't know about the reddish "pink" tee as it doesn't have a back example, just zoomed front pic.
maybe this time i can manage to get a pamphlet for each leg of the tours. ^ ^
thanks for the lnk!
