I'll add my two cents worth (and they're worth alot LOL!)

Since no one has mentioned Plug In I'll start there :3
Plug In- It kind of reminds me of how my heart beats when I'm flying and since it has that "taking off" feeling yeah it fits really well. I think it's a good start off point for Devil Side, it leads in right.

Devil Side- I really like this song. I don't agree with the PV too much but that's really beside the point and doesn't take away from a good song. It's catchy and has a good rhythm to it. Even if I'm slightly embarrassed because of my DS video I did (another beside the point thing)

Angel Trip- Another song that has a catchy rhythm to it and I love the chorus a lot actually.

Memories- Reminds me of a summer song, like one where you have a wonderful summer and always remember it when you listen to the song. It has a happy feeling to it, musically. Another song I like the chorus to.

Euphoria- I actually really like this song. The singing and the music fit together really well and has a sexy feeling to it.

Vamp Addiction- It reminds me of Marylin Manson actually in the way that Hyde sings and even in the music. Its a heavier song and that could be why I like it.

Revolution- What can I say about this song? I'm addicted to it it has a great beat/rhythm it is one of those songs that makes you want to get up and dance. I don't think it is like Trouble or SBRNR other than getting you in that dancing mood. Needless to say I adore this song already.

The Past- Another song I personally like. I like the music (sorry I'm more music oriented than lyrics). It has a feeling to it...one I can't quite explain...but its a nice song to listen to.

Rumble- It has a variety of sounds in it. There is some obvious Latin guitar playing in it, some Jimi Hendrix feeling guitar playing :3, its very upbeat and fun sounding! And holy cow that's got to be some fast finger work on the guitar!

Piano Duet- This song makes me feel slightly emotional. Very beautiful, it is up there with Sweet Dreams but more sweet feeling than SD is. I'll admit even Hyde's singing the way he sings it has a lot of feeling in it. I'm attached to this song. It is very well done and Kazu did a great job composing it.

Get Up- It is another upbeat song. Similar to AT, of course different though but it is catchy.

Samsara- However there is very little singing it reminds me of Enya or something of that nature. Has an Indian sound to it but also that Celtic feel as well. It's too bad it's so short.

My First Last- This song has such a sad feeling to it, lyrically, musically all so sad feeling. It has that Indian/Celtic feel to it again but still such a sad feeling to it. I still like it however.

Overall I think VAMPS did a better job on this album than on their first album. I mean they had great songs on the first album but musically and lyrically they are growing stronger and I think it shows with the new album. I love how they have selected a variety of music instead of basically all rock. Next I think they should try their hand in blues :3 Sorry I got creative with my colors lol

I LOVEEEE THIS ALBUM!! I can't stop listening to it. I have no complaints whatsoever. Once again vamps has made me fall deeper in love with them. Hyde's voice is sexy, beautiful, and just awesome XD My fav is Revolution no doubt but i love all the songs especially the past and vamp addiction and well yeah all of them lol

EDIT - Got around to listening to GET UP and MY FIRST LAST. ... What can I say? Amazing.

GET UP - Okay, so GET UP is a very melodic song. It's nothing that particularly stands out among any of HYDE's work, but it's still an amazing song. The lyrics are necessary for further analysis.

MY FIRST LAST - Okay, this is where it becomes really intense, and rightfully so as it is the final track of the album. HYDE's vocals... are a bit off, I'm not going to lie. He sounds like he has a cold, but the beautiful, serene composition more than compensates for that. Aside from that, his voice magically fixes during the chorus. What makes this song most interesting is that you can understand most of the lyrics already. You can hear that HYDE put a lot of effort into the articulation of his English words in this song, and while the Japanese accent is still blatantly obvious, he sounds almost native English. But enough of that technical mumbo-jumbo. Is the song good? No, the song is fucking AMAZING. To say that it's worth $30 plus shipping in itself would be an understatement. When I read the description that HYDE put for the song, I expected something emotional and thought-provoking. As usual, HYDE did not disappoint. As I write this, I'm still in chills after listening to it.

HYDE's done a lot of emotional, thought-provoking pieces, but what makes this stand out is the way one, by one I mean "I," would react to it. In most of these kind of pieces, I feel like crying all the way through, but this one... I don't feel like crying, I feel like just... sitting there with my mouth wide open (like a bubbling idiot) and just staring into space and letting the song fill my head. It's weird because unlike most of his songs, I don't feel like I'm in the perspective of the speaker, but of the person listening to the speaker. It feels like a sorrowful good-bye that you just have to accept. You feel happy for him, but you feel sad for him at the same time. It's an awkward feeling that is very difficult to describe in words.

I look forward to seeing what they come up with for the PV!

GET UP kinda suprised me~ I like it very much for the feeling it gave me, kinda like I was already hearing it Live.

and I kind of got the same feeling as VAMPkito. I just closed my eyes and let the song fill my head, but I didn't get a "sad" feeling. It was more.. "resigned?''
after the song was over I had a strange urge to listen to GET UP ~ ~

I haven't heard all of the songs yet, because when I really like certain songs I need to listen to them over and over again before I can start with others .
Yesterday I listened to some pieces over headphones and My first last completely put me in a trance. First I listened to Samsara for the first time (way too short, they could have streched out this in between piece much more, I love it, love it, love it, I am a fan of this Indian (?) sound), then to My first last and what can I say... Actually I think it is something like Perfect moment, only much better, instrumentation-wise especially. It is interesting that it was snowing when he wrote that song, because it actually reminds me of the desert/being alone in the desert and fits to the hot weather we have right now in Germany . Something that made me smile is that he pronounces "approa-ches" "approachs" like in "Get out of the shell" where he sings "changs" instead of "chan-ges" .
I already mentioned I am a fan of Revolution . It just makes me want to dance and go wild, it has that certain rhythm and crazy feel to it like Trouble, but I didn't have to think of Trouble when I listened to it the first times (I think that's a good thing).
Then there is The Past, ha ha ha, I think the song is just great because of its many little different interesting elements!!! The intro made me grin big big time, then the line "I will save you" (that chorus effect when he sings it the second time ), then the rhythm (you spin me right round baby right round ?), the guitar riffs in between, the bass line... I don't know, this song is a package full of surprises for me, I am sure I won't get bored with this one. I recommend to listen to it over headphones and concentrate on everything, it is really intersting musically (and somehow in a funny way), I think. Can't judge the lyrics yet and have not the right feeling yet about what the song actually is , I don't have K.A.Z'/Hyde's comments to it at hand right now, I only remember that it was an "Eighties feel song" or something like that...
Then I listened to Piano Duet because I was soo curious about that one and well... the intro made me smile as well, it is really sweet. And when it got over the the chorus I got the strongest L'Arc moment ever . Of all songs of the album I've heard so far I think this is the one where Hyde doesn't even try to sound too much different from the way he sings in L'Arc. Is it just me? I like it, though, although I didn't expect it. Overall I have to get used to this song, because I actually expected a completely simple acoustic piano piece with singing (Vamps unplugged or something like that ) and not something that transforms into that kind of chorus piece. It is not one my favourites (yet). I have the feeling I will like the lyrics a lot, though, I only understand bits so far.
So... my favourite at the moment is definitely My First Last and I think The Past is close behind with Revolution. I have to explore the other songs a bit more and hope I will find Rumble somewhere soon... My original CD/DVD will arrive at the beginning of August... way too long...

Most of the album is now out on YouTube in good quality. There are only a couple of songs missing right now.

I also like it better than the first one. Maybe all of that nice scenery and beautiful sunsets while in America helped the fine tuning/recording process.

Great new album! I'm listening to Rumble right now(One of my favorites!). I love how it goes into Get Up.

I'm gonna be honest this album is a lot more upbeat than what I expected. Reguardless, I'm really enjoying it. It's an epic masterwork and I didn't expect it to be any less.

Thanks to YouTube I finally listened to Rumble. Very cool piece ! I like the somehow dangerous sounding atmosphere of it at the beginning and how it turns into that wild crazy rockabilly thing (did I hear that right by the way, is there a saxophone in it? I wonder who plays it...). One of my new favourites definitively . I am sure this will be great live!!!

I am slowly getting used to Piano duet... I really like the beginning, but from the point where the chorus starts I don't know... I often have the same problem with Gackt songs . They start off so nice and calm with one dominating instrument, beautiful clear singing and all and then all of a sudden a blurry chorus drones into the song and I go , was that really necessary ... I have the same problem with Piano duet I think. It's not the unexpected L'arc moments, it's the chorus that kills it for me . At least that's what I think now .

You know, as much as I love REVOLUTION, I would kind of prefer to see a PV of something like EUPHORIA or a more serious song at least. Seriously, with the diversity and complexity of EUPHORIA could you picture what a PV might look like? But I guess REVOLUTION is still fine.

Anyway, I also got around to listening to RUMBLE and from the descriptions of other members, I was expecting something like WORDS OF LOVE, but that wasn't the case at all! It sounds really cool and fun though! I love it!
