VAMPS on the NYC Comic Con?

Well, I wanted to know if there's a possibility to see VAMPS before the show in NYC when I remembered that the NYC Comic Con was around the concert date, so I contacted Lance Fensterman, who works on the organization of the Convention and this what he told me via e-mail:

"Hi Mayline, thanks for the note, we are working on something with VAMPS, you'll have to stay tuned for the details!"

So here it is they are working to do something with VAMPS, probably a Q&A like the anime con or an autograph session to the NYC fans. Icon_heart

[thinks loudly] So that means that I should get My convention ticket this month just in case, although I'll be arriving @ NYC Friday 8 at 4pm...who knows...does anyone know when VAMPS arrived last year at the comic con???

That's cool! I think you are talking about otakon rather than comic con. that's where they had the Q&A! it was around 11 am saturday but it was after the baltimore live and they had been there since tuesday because of the columbia show at warped tour. Thanks for the info! Icon_heart

LOL thanks for making that clear...I think that I was confused and now I found out that indeed HYDE went to the Comic con back in 2004 when he came for the FAITH tour ^^

Wow that would be super cool. Though I really didn't have any plans to attend the comic con, this might be good enough reason to do it. Hope to hear confirmation soon. Icon_domokun

That's why I wanted to know about it, it would be something else to do on that same weekend besides the concert. ^^ And the plus of maybe seeing the band before the concert it would be totally awesome

i'm hoping it works out and that they can announce soon when and what day they'll have an event! if i can i'd rather just get a one day ticket lol Icon_3nodding

And the best thing is that you can order the tickets for this convention and get them by mail. I just hope they don't require the VIP one, just the concert ticket.

I'm not buying any tickets for Comic Con until something is announced. I absolutely *hate* NY Anime Fest and will not support it at all, and will not go until I have to. It's a completely for-profit convention and it has honestly never been worth the money since it began.
