So this explains all those devil posts in HYDE's diary ^^; - Anyway, for more information, see the VAMPS Official FaceBook. At the moment I'm writing this, there is no MySpace blog post about it.

Next, who's up for a nice game of "Guess What Kind of Sound This Song Will Have?" It's a game I thought up and played with myself (yeah, I know) when EVANESCENT was announced. Basically, using only the name, you have to... GUESS WHAT KIND OF SOUND THE SONG WILL HAVE, and don't just say "It will be metal" or "It will have a soft piano solo." Go into deep, DEEEEEP specifics. Now, I know what you're thinking, "How are we supposed to guess? We haven't seen any clips of the PV or anything?" Well, that's the point. You're supposed to use only the name to think of it. Whoever gets closest to the right sound upon the PV first showing up on YouTube... gets a pat on the back for being right. Yeah, no prize. Just for fun. Sorry. :<

Judging by the name, I think that it will have a hard rock rhythm, sort of like COUNTDOWN, but with a slightly less serious tone. The guitars will be hard and the drums will be... hard. It's difficult to decide rather the rhythm will have a spunky nature like LOVE ADDICT or an energetic but slightly frustrated nature like REDRUM. Potentially, it'll have a bit of screaming mixed in like MADE IN HEAVEN and MASQUERADE. I can't picture too many acoustics and orchestral instruments fitting into it, so I think that it might have a kickass guitar solo (like PRAYER, but not exactly in the same sort of mood).

Again, this is just a guess based on an analysis of VAMPS' personalities in correlation to the name of the song, so please don't look into it too much ^^;

NOW IT'S YOUR TURN.

Well, I'm betting on something similar to "SEX BLOOD AND ROCK'N'ROLL" kinda beat.

I think the lyrics are going to be expressive, a lil 'sexy', with Hyde moaning a lil' bit, specially before the chorus.

The guitars are going to make you feel like dancin' and shaking hard, although the beat of the drums are gonna be the most intense sound of this music, quite deep, will make you really "feel" de music.

Particularly, I think this first single won't be too serious because it's the one that's going to stick in your head for ages, the kinda song you need to listen or u die (?) LOL

Anyway, I LOVED the title!

i think the song will be a rough and hard with a fun, sexy twist to it. with a title like "devil side", hyde can be refering to the bad things humans do or even the mischeivous things we do (like when someone pulls a prank, the pranked person says, "that little devil" or "you little devil" XD). i picture it sounding similar to "DOLLY" and "VAMPIRE DEPRESSION" with a sexy twist, like hyde moaning, screaming, growling, or something like that :) i picture some electronic beats, too XD;

the b-sides gonna be LIVE WIRE by MOTLEY CRUE! XD

as for DEVIL SIDE itself... hmmmmmm I really have no idea ^ ^;

I think Devil Side will be like a mix of Get out from the shell and Redrum. Just guessing though.. xD

Oh lol, so it looks like I'll never win with the package designs, but meh. At least the colors are a bit darker in this one so I won't be utterly blinded as soon as I open the box. But I actually kind of like this art, though. It has a very James Bond-like appearance and a delightfully dark tone, but a picture of HYDE and K.A.Z would still be nice.

Anyway, before I start up that argument again, does anyone know if LIVE WIRE, the B-Side, is really another cover or an original song? (A question that would seem obvious, but since LOVE ADDICT is an original song that shares the same name with a Family Force 5 song, you never know!)

Firstly it's Motley CRUE second I don't remember seeing anywhere where it said it was a cover or a brand new song. IF someone has evidence pointing to it being a cover of Motley Crue's song "Livewire" then please share.
