RE: UPDATE: L.A. Autograph session
Exactly how strict is the "VAMPS-ONLY Merchandise rule"? I read from other sections of the forum that a lot of people slide pass that rule and got other stuff signed.

RE: UPDATE: L.A. Autograph session
Not sure, but I was reading on facebook that someone got some moon child thing signed but the staff got mad at him/her for it.
So if you hand a non-VAMPS merch item to the band they'll probably sign it.
But personally I think it's kind of impolite to ignore their rules for your own benefit. They're going out of their way to do this signing for fans and set rules for a reason.
If you ran into them on the streets then I think anything is fair, but at their pre-arranged autograph session it's best to follow their rules.
But I don't think the band would outright refuse to sign anything because they seem too polite for that.

You know what? You're right. I should respect those rules even though I doubt Hyde and Kaz agreed on such a silly rule. *sigh* I guess that's how the business world works.

RE: UPDATE: L.A. Autograph session
^ Like I said, they probably won't refuse to sign anything so you can try taking something else if you want. You might have to hide it from the staff until you get up there though so they don't have a chance to tell you no.
So if you really really want something else signed then you can try for it.
Anyway, I personally don't think it's a silly rule.
It's not a HYDE and K.A.Z autograph session, it's a VAMPS autograph session for their VAMPS tour. Solo HYDE is not VAMPS even though K.A.Z helped out. VAMPS is a different project.
Just like if L'Arc ever had an autograph session I don't think they'd allow solo works, only L'Arc stuff.
Doesn't HYDE own VAMPROSE, I thought? If he's the boss then he has to approve everything. I'm pretty sure nothing gets done without being approved first.

You brought up some good points. And yeah, I totally agree. But it's not L'Arc or HYDE stuff I want signed, it's my guitar. lol.
Even so, I still think atleast solo HYDE should be permitted. Hyde and KAZ did work on 666 and Faith. VAMPS is just a name that gives KAZ a bigger credit.

I agree that solo Hyde stuff should be allowed, but then again Hyde created Vamps to give Kaz more credit, and to make it clear that they are a team ![Icon_confused Icon_confused](http://vamps.baka-koneko.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif) It would be so cool to get your guitar signed but maybe you should make sure that it's allowed. Don't know if you want to try though it's up to you ^^;;

I'm probably not going to risk it. It's going to be a hassle to carry it around and it would be unsafe to leave it in the car. I'd take that risk if I am for certain that I could get it signed.

The autograph/meet 'n greet session is on a "first come, first serve" basis. ONLY fans who have PURCHASED tickets to either the San Diego OR Los Angeles show(s) can attend. As far as I am concerned, at this time, there will be no "separate line" for the meet 'n greet. Which is to say that if you're in line early for the concert, you'll get to meet the band. I'm not sure at this time of any more specific details such as how many people will be able to meet the band. They will try to fit in as many people as possible for the autograph session. The session will only be an hour long, so however many people they can get in within that time frame will be able to get an autograph. Make sense? I hope so...Good luck and have fun to those who will attend the show/autograph session!!
Much VAMPS-love,
H.P.
*RULES:
1. NO PHOTOGRAPHY! It sucks, but they want to keep the line moving as quickly as possible, so as to give as many people as possible the opportunity to meet VAMPS.
2. ONLY fans who have purchased tickets to the Los Angeles or San Diego concert(s) can attend. That's to say, only those with proof of purchased physical tickets (i.e. receipts or the ticket itself), print-outs, or print-outs that have the LIVENATION barcode on them can attend the event.
3. Contest winners, those who are on a "guest list," "VIP list," or were given press invites CAN NOT attend the autograph session. Contest winners of any kind, unfortunately, are unable to attend the autograph session.
4. ONLY VAMPS merchandise can be autographed. Goods such as: VAMPS CD's, Monthly VAMPS magazines, VAMPS Live 2008 DVD, VAMPS t-shirts, VAMPS bags, etc...Any HYDE/HYDEIST/non-VAMPS merchandise WILL NOT be autographed. Also, if you currently do not own any VAMPS merchandise, they will be selling VAMPS merch while you are in line.
5. This rule isn't listed on VAMPS' official MySpace blog, but I thought that this might be good to mention anyway. Please be courteous to your fellow fans! Remember, an hour can go by very, very quickly. Please keep your comments to VAMPS short, so as to give other people the opportunity to meet them. Don't take away someone else's chance of meeting VAMPS simply because you decided to tell VAMPS your life's story. I mean, we are all excited about this opportunity and it truly is a once-in-a-lifetime deal, but please refrain from chattering away and holding up the line. It's not cool. Also, please be respectful to VAMPS themselves. I don't think they'd appreciate if you started asking them very personal questions or making comments about their personal lives. I know this stuff is common sense, but I thought I'd post this anyway.
Thanks for the announcement! I'm really looking forward to it ^^
For the print-outs, it's ok to print them out again right? They collected them at the door and didn't give us anything back... Also, my aunt's name is on the tickets, but she can't go and my dad will be taking us. Is that ok?

That's fine, they don't check the name, just the barcode. Yes print them again!
