It's about time. Only 4 videos at the moment though.
Seems like they have it set so you can only watch if you're in Japan, but hopefully they'll fix that.
i don't understand why they didn't make it open to international viewing from the get-go. wouldn't you think this is supposed to act as a promotional site? and who else should they be promoting the band to but international fans and newcomers in order to spur on ticket sales?
i was looking at a big outcry about this on the Spanish Street Team's FB. they are calling it discrimination against foreign fans. i agree that it is very frustrating. i even sent a tweet to Oishi-san after he posted it. *sigh*
they had some other site in recent months that wasn't open to the west, didn't they? my brain fog won't let me remember which it was. >.<

Yeah, I saw the Tweet and got excited and then...
"The uploader has not made this video available in your country..."
Needless to say, I was a little vexed. This is one thing about VAMPS that I honestly must I prefer a lot over L'Arc. Don't get me wrong, it's not like VAMPS' management haven't been subject to questionable strategies (most of which, though, were understandable as they were and are still new to the whole overseas marketing thing), but sometimes the way L'Arc's manager operate it seems like they don't want the tickets to sell out... or sell at all if I were to be really pessimistic. I'm sure they're great people trying they're best, but as a basic rule of thumb, if you want to promote anything (be it a tour or a carpet cleaning service), it's probably not a good idea to hide what you're promoting from the potential audience. Just my two-cents anyway.
Nevertheless, good to see the videos being officially uploaded and that they did eventually make it available for viewing overseas. Can't wait for more to appear!
EDIT - Oh, uh... nevermind. Guess what? No they haven't. Strange, since... I was just able to view earlier. Seriously.

Well, apparently not. I've been looking back and forth to see if they'd finally made the video available, but it looks like they've no intention on opening the video to overseas audiences. Yup, that's definitely a smart choice when attempting to promote an international tour.
With that said, I guess I won't be too disappointed to go back to listening to them via copyright-infringing fan slideshows and mis-synced anime music videos. Story of my life.

that would be more like the "story of my life" multiplied by the number of people in their fanbase then. heheh at least we can have that small pleasure until the gov't decides they aren't doing a good enough job policing themselves and tries to take YT down. no, i'm not being pessimistic again...i don't think??? o.O?
i really DOwonder who they have running the overseas promotion from the Japanese side of things. has there been any word about US tickets?? since i discovered i wouldn't be traveling, i've stopped wearing out my fingers checking on things. but really, they are leaving this a bit late. especially if they intend to add any more shows anywhere else in the world.
all they need to do is announce when tickets will go on sale and the prices for various seats/standing so people can determine which shows they will be able to attend. this keeps up and i'm afraid NY is going to be a big disappointment. would be a shame since they've talked so much about going to MSG to the press.

Well, if the PIPA/SOPA bills gets pushed, which by the looks of things I don't think they will, then I'd say, no you're not being pessimistic and there would be good chance of that sort of thing actually happening. But like I said, I don't see those bills going through, so I think YouTube is safe to infringe upon international copyright treaties for another day.

Yeah, that's especially what gets me. They're playing at Madison Square Garden, one of the most prestegious music halls in the entire United States of America, but they're really doing just about everything they can to ensure that not only do they fail to sell out such an enormous arena. Unless, of course, they're relying on undying fan loyalty despite of a currently weak economy and expecting the fans to spend all their life savings and grocery moey for the next two years to book a last-minute flight to New York City to attend the concert, which is an equally ludicrous strategy.

Oh man, if PIPA/SOPA passed then my entire website would probably be shut down and me hauled off to jail (or fined, or both). We don't own any of the pictures/videos here.. and I host the link directory for Jrock_scans. X.X
Although after blackout day it looks like quite a lot of senators have changed their mind.
Anyway, I really don't understand why staff are taking so long. I hope they've got some great plan because traveling costs money and some people may not book hotel/flight until after they buy tickets, just to make sure they do get the tickets.
