Roseland Ballroom VIP and the show
NOTE: this a total personal review, some may just agree with me or not. But finally decided to make one since this is my third year traveling to see VAMPS and get such experience like last night.
First, the VIP + meet and greet:
A total fiasco, awful treatment to the fans (a security guy told an Asian girl "go back to China") and then J comes out at the end says that there won't be photo session because they only have 1\2 hour and this happened because they sold too many VIP tickets. Well guess what J:
Livenation until THAT moment were still selling them! And they still have them to sale even during the situation.
And guess what: VAMPS arrived @ 2PM to the BACK of the ballroom (why when they used to enter through the front, I still don't know) and they weren't ready to sound check by 5PM!?
And they didn't know about the two VIPs! The concert staff was very rude with us and then they said that we were the ones making it difficult. They changed stragedies like four times!
About the show, here's the set list
Vampire Depression
Devil Side
Redrum
MC
Replay
Secret in my heart
Life on Mars?
MC
Hunting
Ahead
Angel Trip
Trouble
Midnight celebration
Revolution
Mc
Sweet dreams
Arimatsu's birthday *love it to pieces*
Love addict
Sex blood rock n' roll
The set list of the show was pretty awesome for me, listening Replay for the first time live was completely orgasmic and mostly when everyone knew the lyrics (and that seemed to amaze him). Although we missed Memories and many more, we know that the show was meant for the Sex Blood Rock n' roll album.
I admit that the show felt a little short and rushed, maybe it was due to the TWO opening acts (totally unnecessary if you ask me) and that BEFORE they went under Universal/Delicious Deli wing, that didn't happen.
I gotta say that the show pleased me at the end like always, but this almost two hour situation made it a bitter opening to the show for us.
I always ranked VAMPS shows as the best, but this time management and staff got -10
