I'm only posting this here in a hurry, because I was late finding out this news myself, and apparently many others have been, too (email notification to fans registered with you would've been nice, Artist Arena), and I'd hate to see others miss out on the tickets they want.

Tickets have been on sale for days, but I see that most venues still have both regular and enhanced ticket packages available, on Artist Arena, so probably still also at Live Nation and local venues.

*Important to note the discussion on that community post, of more than one type of VIP/premium/"enhanced" ticket. The enhanced ticket from Artist Arena, http://tixx1.artistarena.com/direngrey/, is different than the VIP ticket from Live Nation, plus Artist Arena is selling both regular and enhanced package tickets, so be very sure what you're buying, before buying.

Also, I notice that the community announcement mentions early access to the venue, but I don't see that promised on the Artist Arena description of tickets. So I think this is a potential issue that will have to be addressed in advance (Artist Arena has dropped the ball on this in the past), just a heads-up on it.

Going to be hard to save for both Diru n VAMPS, but haven't been to a show in so long. For sure seeing Diru, hopefully a proper pit happens this year aside from who they're touring with. Their show with Apocalyptica had its ups and downs.

Hey, haven't been on this site in years. However, I am going to see Dir en Grey in November in Boston and it is at a very small club. I was there for a show back in April. There is no VIP section, is all general admission and people just stand. Doubt there will be a pit due to heightened security in Boston.

Hi! Well, VIP tickets, according to which type you get, include general admission to the show, plus admission to a meet and greet with the artists, and a couple of items, I believe a signed poster and a copy of their latest CD.

Sometimes, they include early entry, too, but as I mentioned above, you need to check.

If it's a really small venue, it should be great for a lively, intimate show.
