J-Melo interview [w/ English subs]
Since J-Melo interviews have English subs, us non-Japanese speaks can know what the boys are talking about!

It sounds like Hyde's comment about VAMPS may have started some crying/arguing on twitter, or something.

Okay, if anyone is crying or arguing because of anything HYDE said in this interview, they are deliberately looking for drama. I can't find anything he said that sounds like it could be taken the wrong way. All he said was that in L'Arc~en~Ciel it's a lot more hectic because there are four people with completely different tastes composing all of the songs, and that as a result of that each song features a different side of him. By contrast, he says that it's easier to compose in VAMPS because there's only two people composing and they both have similar interests. Wouldn't commonsense dictate that VAMPS would be a little less chaotic because of that?
If all the drama is because of where he said VAMPS is closer to his ideals, then what were they expecting? It was his solo project first, after all. It's not like he's saying he dislikes L'Arc~en~Ciel, just that it captures his initial emotions a lot more accurately, which makes a lot of sense considering that, again, he only has one other person making changes to the songs as opposed to three other people. If I recall correctly, that's why the Roentgen album was not made into a L'Arc album; he wanted the emotion to be purely his own, unedited, as opposed to being fixed and altered to fit the liking of other band members.
Or if it has nothing to do with any of what I just said, I have no idea, but I don't understand how anything in this interview could cause any sort of drama.
Anyway, that aside, great interview! I love the questions and as usual HYDE and K.A.Z provided some really great answers! Thanks for sharing!

Drama? why? there is no reason for drama... I do love Hyde & Kaz words... Vamps is very different from L'Arc~en~Ciel and Oblivion Dust. What's wrong with that? well... no matter, I can not live without VAMPS and L'Arc~en~Ciel, they are part of me...~♥ ^_^
