VAMPS have begun posting diary entries detailing their experiences for each live thus far. I have posted the first entry below, which was for their first Zepp Sendai live. I will try my best to translate them, but if anyone here would like to help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. In addition, there are photos that go along with each entry, so I will try to post those as well

ZEPP SENDAI Day 1 - 2012.06.12

いよいよスタートしました「VAMPS LIVE 2012」！！

スタートの地は“仙台”。
2008年、VAMPS初のツアーのスタートも仙台からでした。
約2年ぶりのVAMPS再始動に相応しいこの地から、「VAMPS LIVE 2012」も始まります。

会場のZEPP SENDAIは7月1日を持って閉館するとのことで、いくつかの限定企画を行いました。

まずは・・・



ZEPP SENDAIの会場前に特大パネルを展示！
ここで、ZEPP SENDAIの背景にVAMPSとも撮影が出来るという、二度おいしい企画です♪

そして・・・



来場された方全員に配布された、オリジナルブレスレット。
東日本大震災からの復興を願ったVAMPSの想いのこもったブレスレットです。
一日でも早い復興をVAMPS、スタッフ一同で願っています。

さらに・・・の前に、VAMPSのツアーが始まって、やはり気になるのはパスです。
これまでのツアーDiaryでも恒例だったお披露目ですが、今年はこんなパスがメンバー・スタッフに配られています。



今年もレザー仕様！！
長く一緒に旅をするものなので、こだわって作っています。妥協は無しです。
このパスを持って全国を回って行きます！

話を戻しまして、ZEPP SENDAI限定企画のお話。

最後に・・・ZEPP SENDAI公演の一番の企画！それは、ライヴ中の記念撮影です。
VAMPSがみなさんとの新しい思い出を作りを、ということで実現した企画！
撮影した記念写真は、ご来場いただいた方にダウンロードいただけるようにしました。
ダウンロードされた方は、ZEPP SENDAIでの思い出と一緒に大切にしてくださいね。



これから、VAMPSは怒涛のツアーを続けて行きます！
今回のツアーも、もはやVAMPSの代名詞にもなっている、全国各地のライヴハウスに「籠城」する滞在型ツアーです。
VAMPSがお近くの会場に籠城中の時は、是非足を運んでみてください！

Yeah, I saw those given to fans somewhere. I thought it was a great idea.

Please tell me the publicity poster is old and he hasn't dyed his hair again.

thanks for posting. i saw somewhere, fb..twitter??, they had a different colored bracelet for each Sendai show. cool idea to remember ZS by.

Cathb, yes that was an old pic.. from their 2010 Sendai stay i believe. it was used to advertise this series of shows as well as being posted outside the venue. [Hyde still has black hair with white bits on the side]

Risa (UK St Team on fb) has been translating the MCs. Hyde said Sendai asked them to perform as the artists who had played the most shows at that site. NIGHTMARE was 2nd most shows and it's their hometown. that's what happens when you go town to town and move in for a week or so in each one for 3 years. ^ ^

Ok, honestly, I'm pretty sure much of this is incorrect, but I tried. >.> *Buys Rosetta Stone*

VAMPS Live 2012 has finally started!

The tour starts in Sendai. In 2008, Sendai was also the location of the start of the tour. It was appropriate to start in Sendai for the first time in over 2 years.
The Zepp Sendai venue was closed on July 1st for planning.

First...

Bracelets conveying VAMPS' hopes of recovery from the [2011] earthquake was distributed to everyone who attended [the show].
VAMPS and staff hope for early reconstruction.

Prior to the start of the tour, what worried me was the [tour] pass. [In] this first tour diary, the tour pass that will be carried around by staff members is unveiled.

This year it's leather!!
I've created this to travel with for a long time. There is no compromise. We will have this pass [when we travel] around the whole country!

Now I will return to the story, the discussion about the Zepp Sendai planning.

In the end, the best planning [went into the] Zepp Sendai performances! It is commemorated in the photo. VAMPS made new memories with you, [which was achieved] from all that planning. The commemorative photos taken are for those who attended the lives to download and enjoy. If you download them, please cherish them with memories of Zepp Sendai.

From now on, VAMPS will continue with the tour!
Also, this tour has become synonmous with the word "siege" as VAMPS tour across the country's live houses.

Basically, it means "When VAMPS are performing at a venue near you, by all means please come!"

You can't translate it literally tho cuz 籠城中 means they're "besieging/holding up the venue," & 足を運んで means "carry your feet/legs."

Ahh....thanks so much! Yes, I tried like 4 different translators and I kept getting "besieging" and sometimes even "castle," which clearly didn't make sense. Thanks again for your translation! :)
