Well, while I admit I hadn't heard a single song by him until today, his significance as a vocalist of Black Sabbath makes him a dramatic loss in music, and for that reason, I have high respect for him and wish him a heavenly afterlife.
Rest in peace.
(On a related note, that message on his official website... just broke my heart. Although I didn't know him that well, the message is just... so touching, as is to be expected. My condolences to Wendy and the rest of his friends, family, and grieving fans around the world.)

He was the one who also started the "devil horns" thing that people do in metal. In his own solo band, Dio, he worked with greats such as Rudy Sarzo, Scott Warren, Simon Wright, etc... Yeah...his music will definitely live on forever.
