I'm really excited about this show!
I was watching the VAMPS LIVE 2008 DVD and they play a lot of stuff from Hyde's solo project, do you think they'll play some of that stuff at this show!? Obviously since they have an album coming out on June 10th they'll probably be playing a lot of those songs... but I hope to hear some of the old songs from Hyde's solo career and of course early Vamps stuff too!
Though I'm only saying that because I already know I love the stuff I've heard; once I hear the new stuff I'll be really excited to hear that live, too! The single Evanescent comes out next month.
On my wish list to see live...: Glamorous Sky (I prefer the Japanese version), Hello, Love Addict, Evergreen (dist.), Season's Call, Masquerade, I Can Feel... I feel like they usually play those, so hopefully I'll get to hear most of them!
Do you think they'll make a DVD of this tour? I'm way buying it if they do!

I think they will do a dvd tour just like with the show in paris or the asian tour L'arc had ^_^ so yeah we can look for ourselves there haha. I want a healthy mix of songs but I'll pass on the covers, I prefer more Japanese lyrics ^^

I prefer the Japanese lyrics over the English lyrics versions, too. Though, since it's an American tour, they might do as much English as possible. Either way, it'll be pretty awesome.
What does everyone consider Glamorous Sky? Is it considered a cover even though Hyde wrote the music (but not the lyrics)...?
I've never been to a Jrock show so maybe it's different... but will there be an opening act? Is this a silly question?

the opening act depends on the performer. I think so far the San Diego show says there's going to be an opening act, but I don't know about the other venues.

I'm sure they'll play the 3 VAMPS singles, Glamorous Sky (Eng) & some of HYDE's solo singles. Plus the other songs on their new VAMPS album. I remember HYDE saying (about L'Arc's overseas L'7 concerts) that the set list for Japan & overseas shows were different, & how overseas they played mostly singles since those were the more popular songs.
I really wanna hear "Hello" & "Season's Call" & "Shallow Sleep" (Japanese). Most likely they'll play the the first two, but prob not "Shallow Sleep" just cuz it doesn't seem like he plays that one often.
I'd prefer that there wasn't an opening band for the Vegas show, unless it's MONORAL^^ I went to L'Arc's concerts last yr, & they didn't have an opening band. Their arenas were HUGE tho so it might be different, depending on the venue & band.

I was watching the 09 clip of them playing at Kawasaki and it looks like they still have that bassist Ju-Ken that played with them last year. I hope he comes to America with them! I really like that guy!
