Vegas Karaoke - Eilonwe - 07-22-2009
I Know several of us have talking that "wouldn't it be fun to go sing karaoke on sunday night to get geared up for the show?". However, no one has yet mentioned a location that I saw.
I found out that the Harrah's Imperial Palace has a Karaoke Bar, and runs 9pm-2am on Sunday nights. I've sent an email and I'm calling the bar tonight (because they don't open till 9pm) and I'm going to ask if we can bring our own Karaoke vidoes. I thought it would be awesome to sing some Old Hyde, Vamps and some other JRock karaoke before the show if they will let us. And besides it's only for one night. I'm really hoping that they will say "Bring it ON!!" Because I'm sure we can at least get 10-20 people there right? When I call tonight I'll find out about any age restrictions.
I've got some Hyde PV's that I've subtitled (And Gackt as well) so I can sing them karaoke style that I'm bringing with me. So if nothing else, maybe if someone has a laptop we can create our own Karaoke bar..XDD!!
I'll post something later tonight with the results of my calls.
even if they don't let us (but I'm really hoping they will), at least we know where we can go....

didnt someone say there was a korean karaoke place? im pretty sure there would be japanese there bc my korean friend has a karaoke machine with plenty of laruku songs.....but no hyde..

that would be awesome, if you could tell me where it is .... right now here's the latest scoop. I'd love to go someplace that might actually have Hyde, and all the other bands we all listen too. Imperial Palace can be a backup plan. or primary depends on what people want to do.
The Karaoke bar at the Imperial Palace said that they will let us play what we bring in. I don't have any karaoke machine formatted stuff. But I do have PV's that I pulled into window's movie maker and subtitled so we can sing along. And I put them on a DVD that can play in DVD player with some Gackt PV's too. He said he wasn't sure if my DVD would work, but we could bring it in and try. the Karaoke bar is open from 9pm-2am on sunday night. *I forgot to ask the age limit* but I've got the number programmed into my cell phone now, so I can call later.
UPDATE: IMPERIAL PALACE KARAOKE BAR WILL PLAY WHAT WE BRING IN, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S KARAOKE MACHINE COMPATABLE. (HE MENTIONED MP3 AND CDG? FORMAT) BUT HE SAID HE ALSO HAS A DVD PLAYER, SO HE'LL TRY TO PLAY MY DVD OF SUBTITLED PV'S AND SEE IF IT WORKS. KARAOKE IS SUNDAY NIGHTS 9PM-2AM. I FORGOT TO CALL AND ASK ABOUT *AGE LIMITS*. BUT THE NUMBER TO IMPERIAL PALACE IS 702-731-3311 IF ANYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT. I'M NOT GOING TO HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER TO POST A REPLY WITH AGE LIMITS. SORRY.

I honestly don't mind going before or after. We'll be there until the 30th anyway. I'll have access to oxymoron's laptop and my Blackberry, so I'll be updated on the plans.
... I haven't packed yet and we leave Sunday morning -_-. I think I'll go do that now, lol.
