They should cover Pink Spider. KAZ already knows the guitar part and I think Hyde's voice would sound awsome singing it.

Yes Kazu knows the guitar part but I am not sure how hide-sama's fans would react to that. And not to mention getting the copyrights and/or permission from hide's estate (which I'm sure handles all that) might be tricky. I don't know. I for one would probably not like it unless it was a tribute to hide-sama. It would feel very weird to hear someone other than hide-sama sing it, even at the hide memorial summit (T_T when poor Kazu broke his footie) it was weird hearing X Japan play it and Toshi singing it.

I'm not saying I expect it ever really. I just think they'd make a really cool cover. I imagine Hyde singing the chorus in my head and it's just totally perfect.

Yeah he broke it during the last Oblivion Dust song at the hide memorial summit... I think he jumped off the stage? Or something. But he finished out the show and stayed to the end anyway!
That's why in some of the early VAMPS stuff you see him with a cast on, or with a cane. :)

Yes he fractured his heel in 3 different places if I'm not mistaken. He jumped off the stage during "24-Hour Buzz", which is a fast paced song, onto a landing of some sort and fell. Of course he didn't miss a beat, even when he fell. How the heck he did that is beyond me. Ken was like O.o eeehh? And kept looking down at Kaz like "What's wrong with you?" and I think Kaz tried to get back up but that wasn't happening. I think it was the adrenline is why he didn't totally feel the pain. So he finished the set and what does he do? Go to the hospital? NO! He stays for the rest of the concert and appears again at the end on crutches. Then he goes to the hospital >.< He had surgery and a metal rods put in his foot. I think they got taken out as he healed more. It took about 3 months and just in time for the VAMPS 2008 lives so if you watch the VAMPS live dvd that's why he's on crutches still in some scenes. Sorry I know too much about this subject. I read his updates on his site and all that.

As for the cover idea, I'd rather them just keep to original songs for awhile. Don't get me wrong; VAMPS covers are excellent. It's just that we have Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Trouble, and Life on Mars? Only two of which I actually really liked, although Trouble was extremely fun live. Anyway, three covers already. I don't really think we need any more than that. It gets sort of annoying after awhile.

It hurts just thinking of it. Nasty business, to injure your foot. He was very dedicated, to continue with the concert. I hope he has complete healing.
