scalpers - cathb - 01-28-2012
Two scalpers have already hit ebay and the general sales haven't started yet! They are asking twice the selling price and I hope they lose their shirts. There are many fans who would have liked those section C seats. Myself included as they are closer than what I got.

can't believe it, many fans are crying and ppraying for a ticket and this people are just making some bussiness.
RE: scalpers - Usagi Hoshino - 01-28-2012
Most likely this scalpers are also fans =(
RE: scalpers - Tokio - 01-28-2012
I'm not surprised at all. MSG is a well known venue, there are probably people who just watch for sales there then buy up whatever they can to resell.
I'm sure there are also plenty of fans who don't mind making a few extra bucks off other fans.

It's disgusting! To grab up tickets that really mean something to others' experience, and charge 5 to 7 times as much. Now they've turned that ticket into something you can't have or that will cause you a hardship to afford. And what did they do to make that money? Intentionally buy those tickets up before you could get them.
Re Cath's post, I don't even know where you found a good seat on these resale sites, for only twice the price!
No wonder we go on Ticketmaster, and can't find the prime tickets ourselves.
There really should be a law against buying up mass tickets for the sole purpose of resale for profit. Actually, I saw that there is law in some states, including New York, against reselling for more than a certain percentage of the price - I think in NY, it's something like 35-50 percent limit on the markup, depending on circumstances of the sale. So, can't sell a $100 ticket for more than $135 or maybe $150. But it must not apply to online sales.

A few extra bucks would be understandable. Although, I have to say I find it so sweet, to see fans reselling extra tickets already, for their original cost, only ♥

A lot of the scalper tickets are selling for the outrageous prices. Many are gone that were there this morning.
Truth be told - if I had the money I would get better seats, too. Or not.....because then I would be supporting the scalpers. :(
There is even one on the Yahoo Japan auction site now.

Scalpers only work with the market they are given so is mostly fan's fault =/
I just hope that people in front of me doesn't stand up on the chairs. I'm small as it is and I hope the stage is high enough for anyone to see even standing up. I'm glad for chairs and numbered seats but I want to be able to seat when I can without suffering because I can no longer see T_T. <3

Yeah....that's my problem, too. Being short. I figure that people who stand on chairs can politely be asked to step down and stand on the floor like the rest of us. Short or not.
Hopefully they will have the big screens and I will be able to see those clearly enough.

I guess expecting a japan concert like behavior is too much to ask for

MSG doesn't allow standing on the seats, but don't know if they actually enforce it....
