RE: NYC VAMPS Fan Project - superJENNY - 04-08-2009

I got a reply from J!
He said that they might have a place where fans can drop of their gifts or can give it to the staffs.
He also mentioned that any large items will be left behind since they are traveling. So if you guys want to give them stuff, don't get them huge items; something small where they can easily transport it.

I have researched some site where they customize fan banners. Apparently they are quite pricey, especially the bigger and colored ones.
So we need some donations. Even if it's a few dollars, I would be really grateful. PM me if you want to donate. Any extra donations received would be used to get VAMPS gifts--which we will decide later if we have any extra donations. (donators will be acknowledged on first post)
Or we can just make our own one by using a huge cloth and use paint which would be cheaper.

BTW, updated the 1st post w/ people who want to take part in this project. If I missed your name, please remind me.

Yeah, J said they're supposed to have a"box" at the venue where fans can drop their gifts off. As for the banner, you can check out your local art store and see what kind of paper they have. They usually have large rolls of paper that cost $20-25 max. For preservation of the paper, you can have the banner laminated at FEDEX Kinko's or some place like that. The lamination is usually $3 per foot or something like that. It should still be way cheaper than having some place actually make the banner for you. AnyVAMPS, I'm willing to donate a few bucks. Where do I sign up?

RE: NYC VAMPS Fan Project - marigold - 04-09-2009

hmm..wonder if this site is legit:

http://www.esigns.com/vinyl-banners/

Because their prices are super duper cheaper than Kinkos or Staples Icon_eek
Someone could make a design, give it to superJENNY, and she can order it with our donations Icon_biggrin And it won't cost most of our limbs..hopefully lol

RE: NYC VAMPS Fan Project - visualgurl - 04-09-2009

great idea. I'm willing to donate as much as I can.

...well I'm doing my East Coast project (http://vamps.baka-koneko.com/showthread.php?tid=42), that's not strictly New York, but it will be going on at the NY show. Icon_3nodding

(And to be honest, I'm most excited about the NY show~ not only is it the first on the tour, but NYC is my home, so it's the most special to me. :D)
