hahaha I totally forgot that HYDE has such a wide range of fans Icon_blaugh oh man I'm gonna try to take as many pics as I can while in line :D And if they don't get that we're different from average whatever that is ahahahaha fans, then we should put on a good show for them Icon_xp nah jk jk...for now.. Icon_stareIcon_twisted

Ok so I guess we need to sort of shift our focus on bathrooms now XD Thanks to Noctilca's sleuthing prowlness, we might not have to worry about it for at least early afternoon. But do you think maybe people will be inside Sonar during that time? Maybe they could let us inside just to use their bathrooms? But let me just state, for the record, that I saw some pics...and it was..umm...Icon_confused

I'm not sure - I got the impression that the front is locked up with a gate through the day, and there probably aren't many (if any) people there. It would be nice if they would work with us, though.. Can anyone ask them on Twitter? Or maybe find out from them what kinds of places are nearby (restaurants, portable toilets, etc.)?

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming? - Mi-tan - 04-10-2009

The HOB allowed fans in to use the bathroom when I saw HYDE last time.
It would be awesome if the Sonar would really do that, too. Icon_3nodding

I think I can deal with the bathroom being yucky if it keeps me from
driving around Baltimore in search of a bathroom, because there isn't
any for us to use nearby.. Icon_confused

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming? - Tokio - 04-10-2009

^That would be nice if they let us in. Slim's didn't, but the bar across the street allowed us to use their bathroom.

Hopefully people won't be iffy about line-holding though. Some people don't like it when you step out of line and someone holds your place. They think as soon as you step out you lose your spot and have to go the the back.

So, if we're lucky people won't be like that and we can run to the bathroom without losing our place. I'd hate to get there early and then end up in the back because I had to potty.

I hate fans that forget that we are all human beings... I think that if a couple of fans do that to you or anyone then the rest will end up backing you up. I'm sure I will ^^!

I hope so! I'm really bad with confrontations Icon_crying Was there a problem with this sort of thing at any of the past Hyde shows?

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming? - Tokio - 04-10-2009

I don't think so? I know at the HYDE concerts some girls went around and let everyone sign a banner, and I'm pretty sure someone at the front was holding their place without complaints.

But people online have complained (maybe in jrock_rant?) about people getting out of line, in general. As well as complaining about people who pull their friends up in line. (whoops, I did that since I arrived before the girls I was meeting. We did share extra pizza with others, though).

If you need to leave the line to go to the bathroom, I see no problem with that. Even if someone says they're going to get something to eat and will be back in 30-45 minutes, I'm usually okay with that. You'll have your spot when you get back. But if you leave the line for 3 hours... then I would have a problem.

And pulling friends in line - that annoys me so much! I usually get to shows first and my friends may come an hour or two later because they're traveling from elsewhere, but I'm never in front of the line... if you're in the front and pull 5 friends up with you, that's uncool. I've never agreed with that. :/ For these Vamps shows, I know that I'm getting there early and if my friends aren't there, I'll go hang out with them in line, but I wouldn't let them come up with me if I'm so far forward. You have to use judgement sometimes. 1 more person doesn't matter, but... if everyone does it. It's hard to say. :/

You know when it comes to that... everyone is human. Maybe some people can sit in a line for 12 hours and not move, but most of us at least want to get up and wander around a little...talk to people...eat...go to the bathroom. When it comes to that, there shouldn't be complaints.
About people pulling friends up in line. In my opinion, I'm okay with it as long as it's not more than two people... then it's overboard and ridiculous and very rude. Because I understand what it's like to get to a concert late because of some unavoidable cause and then your alone and so utterly screwed unless the people let you go up in line with your friends. =) I wouldn't worry too much.

RE: Roll Call! Who's coming? - SB.Hall - 04-13-2009

The show @ Sonar will be awesome. I've been there once. It's a pretty small venue (what I was hoping for)! It looks similar to a basement. It's standing room only. If your end up front, you're basically on stage lol.

Edit: Oh! and camping out (overnite) @ Sonar = bad idea. It's pretty risky; safetywise.
