I'm sad - malicious - 05-21-2009
I've been talking to ppl about vamps and their tour and stuff, but alot of ppl either dont wanna move their lazy butts to a show or they say they dont like vamps....why?!

It's frustrating and disheartening, but we've got to keep doing what we're doing. I think there's going to be a lot of setbacks before we see progress, but as long as we believe in VAMPS' music and the joy it brings to us, I think we'll be ok. AnyVAMPS, thank you so much for supporting VAMPS. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, seriously. Good luck and ganbatte kudasai ne. ;)

*sigh* I hear this all the time too and I so try to just ignore it but its hard. I love VAMPS there no denying that. Their music makes me so happy I don't care what others think I just feel bad for them because they're so awesome and they deserve to have every single person in this world turn into a VAMPS addict.
There always going to some haters out there though so us true fans have to make up for them by supporting VAMPS as much as we possibly can.

Guess sometime people cannot conceive that something they do will actually make any difference, so... "Why do anything at all?", they think. Sometimes we can go on and give our best and they will get infected by our energy! sometimes we just have to go on alone. As to people that don't know VAMPS and won't try to, they are usually afraid of what's new, but there's a lot of fish in the sea, and as soon as VAMPS gains strength and dominate the world, they will come meekly to the herds B-D (maybe I am exaggerating? X-D)
I'm sorry about being off for so long, the stupid flu DID scr**ed us a lot here in Mexico. I have a lot of material... that I keep on giving to people that believe that VAMPS is either a sex shop or a porn web X-D Might have something to do with the official VAMPS website... Whatever! Let's try to keep our spirits up! I send you a virtual hug, I hope you hug back, I could use one too :-)

I tried to answer this last night and my keyboard didn't want to lol.
*hug* Don't worry I get things like that all the time x.x I guess Hydelex and I know that better since latinoamerica is not used to asian music, I think Peru more than Mexico, at least Jrockers have gone to Mexico before T_T!
Also you have to think about people financial situation, a concert may seem like a joke for people that will rather use those $30 for debts or something else. so they must REALLY be into the band or have money to spare, maybe they don't mean to sound so harsh and we take it like an offense (at least it has happened to me before). So maybe they do like vamps but they are not that much into them to go see them on another city or something. Everyone has a different value and priority scale than the rest so don't think too much about it ^^ eventually someone will hear u out!
Also not everyone will like vamps kind of music cause it's not their thing. Is not about pushing people to like them either. ^^

I think you are right. If everyone liked the same kind of music, we would only hear one kind. You have to go with what grabs you. Plus like you said....the economy Hoovers really bad right now. I would LOVE to go to the east coast or up the west coast and catch more of their shows. But I need to be realistic no matter how badly I want to go. I am just thankful for the shows that I will be attending.
I DO have my priorities straight. I want to see VAMPS!!

To a lot of people... it's like this: L'Arc~en~Ciel > HYDE > VAMPS. Some people just plain don't like any of the members' solo work. They are too focused on L'Arc~en~Ciel. I personally think it's great that each of the members are doing solo because it allows them to experiment and bring it back to L'Arc~en~Ciel. That's the reason why that makes the band so great, because each member has a different style to contribute and the rest could adapt easily whether or not it's their favorite style.
hyde is rock. tetsu is pop. yukihiro is... metal/industrial?. ken is.... don't know. lol. And to be honest... I only find hyde and testu's solo work much more appealing. That's just my opinion, I'm sure others like yuki and ken's solos.
To be EVEN MORE honest. I like HYDE more than VAMPS. And I'm a bit sad that VAMPS has taken over, even though it has the same members (hyde x k.a.z). The only reason why I'm listening to VAMPS it's cause it's hyde! Biased to give a chance. Don't get me wrong. I like VAMPS music. EVANESCENT is absolutely beautiful. Almost SEASON'S CALL-ish. But HYDE will remain above VAMPS for me.
To be even even MORE honest. I really like the VAMPS album. I was afraid it was going to disappoint, but nope, VAMPS delivered. Their songs just gives you so much energy. It's loud(good kind of loud), catchy, and rock. I can't wait for their arrival.
