"SEX BLOOD ROCK N' ROLL" - UPDATE! - VAMPS + American Street Team + - 08-29-2013
Hey guys! It looks like there is an “overseas” version of VAMPS’ upcoming greatest hits album, “SEX BLOOD ROCK N’ ROLL” available on CDJapan:

CD + DVD version: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NEOIMP-7669
CDJapan has listed it as being an “import disc,” which leads me to believe that it is NOT the Japanese version of the album that’s listed here:

VAMPS’ official sites have yet to neither confirm nor deny that this is an “overseas version” of the album, but another clue is the price of the “Import Disc” versus the regular edition of the original listing. The original listing here: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=UICV-6660 lists the album as being $29.56, though it is an “SHM-CD” and includes an external bonus. “SHM” stands for “Super High Material” and it is an improved version of the typical compact disc, meaning it’s like a “high definition” CD. The import disc listing is $17.68 and does NOT include an external bonus.

On the English language page of vampsxxx.com, they do officially acknowledge these "import" releases, giving details and saying that on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th, these will go on sale in Europe, in the U.S., and in Japan, respectively (recheck me on the dates). Checking Tower.com and amazon.com, I don't yet see these listed or available for pre-sale from a U.S. source.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, when I originally posted this on Facebook, there was no information at the time to neither confirm nor deny, but I'm glad they have in fact confirmed this now. :D
And yes, I believe you are in fact correct on the dates. ;)

I was hoping the "overseas" version would be a little cheaper, but I suppose that was wishful thanking. I suppose it will be too farfetched to hope that they'd actually have in-store distributions as well. =P

Oh, they are, a lot cheaper ~ The international releases cost approximately $26 for the limited edition CD+DVD and $18 for the CD, alone. It's true there's no mention of external bonuses for these, though.
H.P. listed all 5 versions in her post, with cost and features, and I have a feeling that you were looking at the cost of the Japanese releases.

No, I was looking at the prices H.P. listed. It's still a bit of a burden when I can go to pretty much any store and get an album for $10 for just the regular edition. :v - But I mean, beggars can't be choosers I guess.

I'll give my full review later. I won't be able to make it to any of the shows this year, as usual. (Unless they add a new show that is nearer but that's unlikely) So I'm at least glad that I can download the album for fairly cheap. Although I'd love a physical copy, I'm not sure if I want to spend the shipping and import costs on an album that is only remixes and rerecordings. Bearing in mind, I'm not criticizing the album for being like that. I just find it worth less than a whole bunch of original songs. Hopefully in 2014 will come soon enough and we can get another new album ^^;
