"HALLOWEEN PARTY 2012" Photobook Release Extended - VAMPS + American Street Team + - 02-19-2013
According to the Catchbon website, the release date for the “HALLOWEEN PARTY 2012″ photobook has been extended again to March 27th, instead of March 5th. You can still pre-order the book on CDJapan’s site, but don’t expect it to ship until the 27th. Click here for more details:

What's going on with the long delays of printed material, these days? The L'Arc photo books, the VAMPS calendar that wasn't even released until well into January, arriving even later, then this Halloween project.

Yes, I pre-ordered it through CDJapan as well. I have no idea what's going on with the books these days....I hope it's worth the wait, though. ;)

A bit late, but just so everyone knows, the release for this photobook has been canceled due to issues with the publisher. If you ordered it, you should be getting a refund for your purchase.
So yeah, no Halloween Party live photobook. Joy.

I didn't order it but that really sucks. Halloween lives always seem fun, but noooo we don't get anything from it. Publisher, you suck!

Wonder why cdjapan still has it as available on their web site as of this moment? You would think they would have a cancelled or unavailable note out there.

I think it's because of the "or" that's on Catchbon's website. The announcement actually says that the photobook was cancelled or postponed to a date to be determined. They're issuing refunds to those who don't want to wait and would rather have their money back. I would think CDJapan would at least post an announcement or note or something by now... I think I'll send them an email to find out if they still have the item available because they think it might be released at some later date or something. It's also quite possible that perhaps they just haven't gotten around to removing the item from their page. :-/
* On a slightly related note: the VAMPADDICT version of the "MY VAMPS LIVE 2012" photobook won't ship until early April. That is, it's not even in production at the moment and it went on sale like almost a month ago. What the heck is going on with these photobooks? *lame*

So, everybody, is this item still being released, or has it been released, anywhere? On catchbon, the machine translation sort of looks to me as if they still expect it to be released, and are cancelling the original orders, but expect to take orders again later.
P.S. ~ I haven't checked, yet, but I suspect I'm losing money on the exchange rate with this refund, regarding what the same amount of yen was worth in US dollars when I paid for this, versus the amount of US dollars I'm being refunded, based upon a current exchange rate. I wonder if there's any way to address that?

I just got mine, too. Sadly......
I would think that they would return what you sent them, rate difference or not. I'm sure they still have the original orders. Mine was bundled with something else so it is not the exaxt amount.

Hi all,
I just got the notification this morning as well. If you ordered your photobook through CDJapan, you will not be getting a refund because your credit card isn't actually charged until the item actually ships. What CDJapan does is make an initial charge when you first purchase the item, just to make sure you have sufficient funds, and then the funds are essentially put back into your account/not charged. You will be charged again a few days after your item has shipped. They do this because of scenarios like this where an item becomes unavailable and to avoid having to issue refunds or if the item somehow gets lost in the shipping process. This sort of gives the customer time to contact CDJapan if their item hasn't arrived within the specified time frame. Does this make sense?
At any rate, it pretty much sucks that they cancelled the photobook. .__.
