VAMPS World Tour DVD Release Announced - harumi - 05-06-2011
VAMPS finally announced the release of a DVD from the last tour. It's going to be from the Chile live. On sale July 13th. 4800 yen.
On the one hand I'm intrigued...in all their interviews, VAMPS just rave about the energy they received from the Chile fans and it would be interesting to see what that was really like....
On the other hand I am a spoiled, selfish American and I want to be able to buy a DVD of the live I went to as a memento XD That's not to say there's not still time to do that, but who knows if they will or not...

Since I wasn't able to attend any live this year, it wouldn't matter to me where in particular they decided to film it, but I would like to see some of that Chilean energy VAMPS among others have talked about. That, and the fact that the show has SWEET VANILLA and LIVE WIRE, so we can finally see somewhat of a change in setlist. Unfortunately, with the price it's currently going for, I'm pretty sure this one will have only ten songs, much like the 2009 USA DVD, so neither of those songs may show up on the DVD. =x - Oh well, maybe the documentary will make up for it. I hope.

Well, the USA DVD wasn't as exciting as LIVE 2009, but I'll get this one because it's their first visit to a Latin-American country, and me being Puertorican makes me want to see those from the Latin Forums on the line ^^
Besides, I bet they'll release a 2010 BEAST DVD soon featuring one of the Japan Lives, and let's be sincere they tend to be WAYYY better quality.

According to the VAMPS official website the entire 20 song setlist is included ~.^
The documentary may at least give us a glimpse of the other world tour venues, etc. I may shell out for this. I have to prepare tho...I used poor financial planning when the mekuri calendar and l'arc tewnity box came out and I've been trying to recover ever since!

Yeah, those were fun to pay for at one fell swoop weren't they???? I had the same problem.
I'm gonna get this though.....who knows how long it will be before we see VAMPS again?
As far as the energy and enthusiasm, my feelings are that it will look a lot like what we see in America. From what I've heard, Japanese lives are more subdued in general. Plus Hyde was happy to be performing in South America so that adds to his perceptions.
Can't wait to see it!!!

I'm so happy for this release! I'm about getting a credit card soon, and the chilean live is totally going to be my first buying hahaha! :D
I bet they will release another DVD with the japanese tour too, and I'm really hoping that they would release a DVD with their lives in Europe and America... ♥
And about the documentary... maybe they'll show when the police came? lol xD

Just to point out, guys, you'll just GO CRAZY with this live! Trust me, it's SO worth it!!!!
It was THE BEST SHOW EVER, when they say "this major moment in music history", it's REALLY not a lie!
I know, I know, I'm suspicious to say, blablabla... I went from Brazil to Chile for this and I don't regret one single bit! Would (and will if I need) do it again any time! And this DVD will SURELY be AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!
When they performed Live Wire I can say I went completely nuts LOL.
