Final tour DVD - vegetapr69 - 02-10-2013
Okay, I made this post because I really need to know about this Final Tour DVD mess [because I can't understand it]. I know that the hightlight of it is that FINALLY there's a blu-ray release, but aside that...
I would like to get ONLY thefinal your because I only went to the MSG show, but don't know the difference and if there's anything extra...in the end I don't really get it.

Holy, smoly.......according to their website http://www.larc-en-ciel.com/jp/.... there are a bunch of seperate DVDs and they are not cheap!
I figured they would do a box set and soak us for around another $400. Now I too am confused about the cost of this. It appears that you have to purchase the shows seperately. ??????

According to CDJapan, there are in fact 13 editions of the DVD. Each DVD is the same Final Show at Kokuritsu Kyogijyo, and they will all include the "World's Best Selection" CD, however, the second CD will consist of 3 live tracks from the specific show you chose. For example, if you bought the Honolulu set, you'll get the DVD, World's Best CD, and the second CD will include 3 live tracks from the Hawaii show. Then, further down the list, you have the option of just buying the 2 DVDs or the Blu-Ray + CD set. Hope this helps. ;)

This is tremendous merchandising. I finally decided to purchase the Hawaii set.
I still feel that there is the opportunity to soak us for another box set since the other shows aren't included anywhere. It wouldn't surprise me to see it appear next fall for sale.
Guess we won't have L'Arc back soon since VAMPS is planning the massive tour. Maybe next year......but I'm also saving for the 25th in Japan.
