There is a few other magazines too one is called "Anime" I do believe and they have had L'Arc ad's in them before. I'll have to look through my mags again to see which ones were promoting L'arc on their America concert.

AnimeInsider? i didn't know they were stopping, i have a subscription and didn't get a notice of cessation. but they were published by Wizard, which does other mags. and THEY have a web site, i don't have time to really check it out now, does have some ani-con info i saw. here's the site if anyone can check it. gotta go.

I know there is AnimeInsider but I also thought there was one called just Anime. I could be wrong it's been a long time since I looked at them. I don't know if AnimeInsider is stopping or not. I know a lot of magazines are going to web now to save on paper and what not.

Most talk show websites have a "suggestions" or "comments" area, so we can ask them to feature VAMPS...it might not happen before their U.S.A. tour this year since it's a little late by now, but they might be interviewed at the end of the year or even next year if enough people request!!

VAMPS-some! Who is Shojo Beat btw? Ha ha ha...it seems like exhaustion is starting to kick in for me...

Shojo Beat is similar to Shonen Jump. It is full of manga. They do lots of advertising and offer tidbits about Japan. L'arc and Hyde have both been mentioned in it or on their website.

Shojo beat and shonen jump are awesome when promoting new talents, and since they helped a lot with Hyde previous tour they should be able to help now ^_^!

Maybe leave fliers on Japanese restaurants? or hot topic xD

Right, I hear what you're saying, but to even get them interested, I think "LOVE ADDICT" will be the best way to go, for now. If they want to hear more of what VAMPS have to offer, then we can send them the others. A lot of difficulties I experienced when I had been calling radio stations to get them to play VAMPS came from the fact that they were "Japanese" and it was assumed that they only sang in Japanese. Unfortunately, a lot of people won't listen to music that they can't understand. However, I hope I'm proven wrong and VAMPS will get some airplay somewhere before the tour.

I see what you're saying and I do agree once they hear "japanese" band they go like ehhh no! Get away!

When I called I said it was a band PERIOD. I told them it was a mix of hard and soft rock.. i mean it is. Their songs are diverse and I said that. The fact that they're japanese is non of their buissness is it lol The girl told me to go ahead and send them a demo cd with a couple of songs and she said it could be a CD or a memory card.. Tracy is gonna go ahead and send it to them for me. SO~ I think we're fine sending ALL the songs. We just have to know how to aproach people. Most certantly NOT LIE just keep the info out so they can give VAMPS the opportunity they deserve! If once they hear them they're like O_o what are they singing they atleast gave them a chance and listened instead of.. oh japanese band no get away!

I know this method works because its how i've gotten ppl who hate music "they cant understand " to like Hyde's music ^^
