I don't think 4 AM is really necessarily but getting there by at least 8 AM is. Trust me fans who have sat in line all day don't take too kind to others showing up last minute saying they were there a head of them but haven't been in line at all except 10 minutes. I'm not saying you'd do that or anything but just giving advice. But the longer you wait to get in line the less chance you have getting a good view. BUT if you were to say come at 8:00 AM sit in line a few hours then go see Little Tokyo but still come back for a good chunk of the afternoon/evening I'd see no problem, I don't know what your plans are however. So its up to you. Knowing me I'll sit my butt down and not get up unless I gotta go use the rest room or eat/drink. LOL but who knows about that too. More advice if anyone is going to Vegas I DOUBT they'll let you line up at the Hard Rock Cafe until probably an hour or two to show time. Happened last year at HRH&C.

I'll talk to my friend about it and we'll see what we want to do...I wouldn't presume to get there 10 min before doors open and then try to muscle myself ahead of people who have been there all day :/ But I'm not much of a line sitter...I get too antsy...and we did have plans for Little Tokyo so your plan, icey, seems to probably be the best one........given me lots to think about haha

Believe me, last year I went to the Wiltern (LA) and made the line since 8AM, and I didn't realized what time it was until I felt hungry. Talking and hanging out with other fans makes the wait waaayyyy easier and makes time run faster. Well that was my case, but I want to make a good spot this time for being NYC and the show last year there was fastly sold-out and packed.

Wowza! 4am! 8am! I'm impressed. I, like Harumi, have not the stamina for such things. Also, I'm going to ComicCon NYC and I don't want to miss a whole day of it. Though the idea of hanging with bunch of VAMPS fans is appealling... Maybe I'll sorta compromise and show up a few hours early.
Good point about merch sell out! I've been to SO many shows at which that was the case. I always hit the merch table right away.

Well, here's something that may be naive of me to ask ~ when you've been waiting a long time, and the doors open, how can you both buy merchandise and get a good spot near the front?
Is there any way to do both?

In my case was to go straight to the merch booth (since I know from previous show what they are selling right away) pick everything and move as fast as possible. I try to avoid to buy extra stuff (drinks, food) and try to always have. Small bills for fast pay and not wait for the change. It worked last year in LA but everyone has their own strategy.

I kinda want to see the place too, I think VAMPS are playing at the new Hard Rock on the strip. I remember seeing the construction for it last year...I stood in front of the door for a while because the air was really cool, it felt nice~

1. I'm super amazingly HYPE for this years concert especially since the new albums out. I so can't wait to hear ANGEL TRIP, THE PAST and of course MEMORIES which i'm probably going to be balling my eyes out during the entirety of it XD
2.I'm going to the New York live and probably gonna stand in line like at 10Am
3. Just like last year my dad and I will be driving up from Florida !!

They had plenty of stuff left by the time I got there, in Vegas they had it right there in front of us while we were waiting but by that time I had already gotten my things LOL. I'll just wait til after the show or something. :3
