The basic idea is that if you want to meet VAMPS, you will show yourself on camera, and your commitment to wanting to meet them. That does not mean you have to be on camera for 100% of the time though... you can be creative. What we don't want is random other people singing in "your" video, without you. If you are there, and you are the main subject, and that is obvious, then anything else is fine. Does that help at all?

Also, don't worry about how many people in how many countries can win... it is all based on the whim of HYDE and K.A.Z. They are not exactly the "stick to the rules" type of guys, and that's why singing ability is not necessarily the most important thing. Think more about making an impression, something that will help them remember your video over other submissions.

Lastly, today is apparently Tokio's (the infamous founder of this forum) Birthday. There is a thread already going to submit your well-wishes, so do so if you have a chance... if not only to thank her for creating and maintaining this very useful forum.

To be on the safe side I would sing the song live, not prerecord it. Just to avoid disqualification... I wrote J asking about it, but haven't received an answer so far. I will let you know should he answer .

So, I take that reply by J to mean; you can do anything that doesn't violate the rules.
Also, those girls in the vids, aren't too bad, I mean I'll admit thats better than I can sing lol

It means that it must be something original. Like you can't add Hyde singing the words or K.A.Z playing the guitar because that is not original. It has already been done before.
Whatever you do has to be totally done by you.

I think it also means that you cannot use material you created earlier for other projects.

I just saw the videos. Cool!!! I am eager to see the loads of them there will be! :-D
