this news is really a bit of a pisser. one waits hoping that will be the case, even though the original seller was only delivering in Japan, not overseas, then as soon as one goes thru the hassle and orders--pow! it's really more trouble to cancel than it may be worth, for me ar least.

no matter who you order from, the biggest killer could end up being shipping, all of that material makes for a heavy package. this happened once before a few years ago on some bit of L'Arc merchandise. we live and learn, yet still get surprised.

Yeah, it is the shipping that kills you...especially when you use EMS so you know it is secure. Most of this should be fairly light, except for the book, so hopefully it will not be too bad.
The same thing happened to me with L'Arc merchandise also. In my mind I had stolen the stuff for the price I paid and then it cost me $150 to ship it here.....cough, cough.
