And if they cut off the line, and say person 200 is the last to get in for the session. Do we really think person #201-500 is going to let anyone in front of them, especially after not getting in to see them for the meet & greet. Or... should we not be so conscerned about our place in line for the concert, so long as we got to see them up close in person for the m&g.
Perhaps, they plan on "meeting and greeting"(very quickly) every person that is in line by 2:00. Then there would be no fuss over "places in line".
Maybe.
It seems like when one question is answered 10 more are raised. AARGH!

I'm hoping that they will have staff that will hold the rest of the line back until the Meet & Greet is over...I really don't see any other way to do it, unless they let people come back out from the Meet & Greet and form another line that will enter first.

Oh...now things are starting to barely make sense XD
I still don't know how the heck I'm gonna go to the autograph session at 2pm and pick up my badge at 5-ish pm, but I think it was a good idea to get rid of the whole 'second autograph session' thing.
So now...I'm gonna start ripping my hair about the Sonar line like the rest of you XD
and what with two other bands performing the same night...I hope it won't get messy outside

I'm wondering if there will be special passes to the Otakon panel at all... the person on the Otakon forum made it sound as if there was a special panel pass AND a limited autograph pass, but VAMPS_USA makes it sound as if they've gotten rid of the special passes altogether since they moved the signing to Sonar.
And if there isn't a special pass anymore, then would it even be necessary to pick up the pre-reg badges at 5pm on Thursday?
I wish there was someone who could just straighten everything out for us.

FRIDAY at 1:30 PM (Otakon, Panel Room 4) -- VAMPS Q&A.
* The room will be cleared before the panel. Those with preferred seating passes will be seated first.
* Instead of the originally planned autograph session, all attendees will have a chance to win autographed merchandise at the panel itself.
To ensure you don't miss out on either event, we're setting up a special booth at Thursday's pre-registration pickup just for those who have tickets to the VAMPS show.
UPDATE: Bring your printed tickets to the front door of the PRATT STREET LOBBY during Thursday's pre-registration pickup, and show them to the staffer on duty. He or she will direct you to the fast lane.
We're staying open until 11pm, so you can also try to swing by after the show!

well, if it wasn't a confusing mess before, it will certainly be in a few minutes time. the more they think they are simplifying one matter, the more confusion it heaps on another. this last Otakon message really puts the pressure on to be in line for autographs at Sonar. but it still boils down to at some point,a line will form for the autograph session at 2pm. then at 3pm those people can get back in place for the show line up, somehow or other, and eventually there will be people lined up for 3 separate shows somewhere in front of the venue.
if i weren't already having panic attacks, i'd start about now. o.O?

I just saw that too, now for me I'm still wondering how are they giving out the passes after the show...I wonder where to line up for them xD

And the wording on the update is the root of it! It says AT THE CONCERT, but then it also says "following the show"?? omfg what don't they get about giving the special passes out along with our badges?! Or is that what they're implying?!

Okay, now all the questions that need to be answered are:
1. How do we get these "special passes" after the show?
2. How many "special passes" are there?
Here is my guess. When L'Arc~en~ciel came the last time, people had to get special stickers on the back of their Otakon badges in order to attend the concert. I believe that the "special passes" are slightly the same in that respect. I think that the "special VAMPS line" for picking us our Otakon passes is where we will get the "special passes". This is just a guess, I suggest that we confirm this with someone from Otakon staff before jumping to conclusions.
Best thing to do is to just calm down! <3
So if that's the case there seems to be much less worrying. We just need to have panic attacks over the line. You know, I really think that if the line isn't strongly enforced, it will become two lines. Some crazy people, I'd bet on, won't want autographs and will complain about the line. So the WORST thing will be that the line will become two: Concert goers, and the screwed people who want autographs. >.< That will be up in the air until we get there. Plus the other concerts.... How on earth do you have more than one concert at the same time?? What was up with that again? Maybe opening acts for VAMPS? Maybe...? But anyway, the line is going to be hell. ^_^ Hopefully me and the huge-ass banner can get in the front of the line...
