i'm listening to the snippet on repeat again.
yeah, i'm really loving it so far.
it DOES have a bit of "creepy" feel in that opening sequence. but fits the lyrics. 
i just can't wait for the whole thing to pop up. it cuts off at my favorite part.. "SAIIILORS fighting in the dance hall. Oh man, look at those cavemen go!...IT"S THE FREAKIEST SHOOOOWWW.." i wanna hear that last bit!!!
Hyde can do those high pitched lilts at the end of a line better than anybody!!!
as to english vs engrish... he's really toned the accent down, but he usually does on recordings, as anyone would. he's said before that it's hard enough singing and playing guitar when the song's in japanese. just remembering lyrics can be a pain. when it's in another language..i think he does great. so what if it slips now and again. it's all good.
KAZ is way better looking than Yoko, come on.

It's funny. When I read that first line, I kinda smiled to myself (playfully) thinking "what kind of kook listens to a song snippet over and over again?". So then I went back and listened to it a 2nd time..............and now I'm on my 3rd repeat.

it just won't stop and it won't go forward! i personally think Hyde has super skills when it comes to singing english lyrics. he's been doing it professionally for nearly 20 years now. strangely, the one other Japanese vocalist i can understand first listen is Toshi, X Japan. but look at how many of their songs were also completely english. but i'd listen to Hyde slaughter something, like he pretty much did "Unexpected" in that clip from the Rock in Japan Festival, anytime cause i prefer his voice.
i do wish they'd do a PV for this. i'd like to see their take on it. their vid for Trouble was really fun, much more than the original. XD
i thought KAZ' mom was Patty Duke!
(based solely on the cute cartoon mom in MV6, but that would've made his dad Freddie Prinz, the elder! o.O?)

Could you elaborate on these 2 points? I haven't seen the aforementioned clip, and I don't how to see any of the Monthly Vamps stuff (took a me a couple minutes to figure out what MV6 meant).

Okay one, Kaz looks nothing like Yoko Ono period. Young or old Yoko he doesn't look like her. He looks like himself, so that ends that. Secondly, Yoko doesn't look like she could be his mom. If the MV6 is any indication his mother is Caucasian, that is how she was drawn in it with red hair and very Western looks. I'm sorry I'm getting cranky over this but really. His mom did/does look very simular to Patty Duke actually, well in the drawing. And his dad also looks very Freddie Prinze-ish. I don't know if they were drawn like that because that is how they look or if that is just how Kaz wanted them represented. I don't know.
Anyways this is off topic again. This is about Life On Mars, which is a great cover and can't wait to hear the full song. Not too long now and we'll have the single!

You can think he looks 100% unique and someone else can think he looks like Britney Spears' twin, but no need to get snarky about it.
About the song, I heard that it aired on the radio already(?) so I'm surprised we don't have a full version yet. Or has it not aired yet?
Either way, I can't wait to hear the full version.
I wonder how it will sound live.

X-D OH MY VAMPS!!! Really, hyde is love, hyde is like oxigen, hyde is better than freezing chocolatecheesecake in a mirror of strawberry gravy... but when I heard his english version of glamorous sky I understood the same parts I understood in Mika's japanese version X-D I read the lyrics later and everything made sense. I praise hyde for singing in english, but my ear is not trained enough to get everything he says. I don't think he would feel offended if he read this.
And... Yoko Ono was very attractive... what I mean is that I DO think K.A.Z's face reminds me a little of Yoko's. I don't think that's an offense either :-)
About the cover... T_T I want it!!!!!! OMV how do I suffer!!!! It is awesome.

you are quite correct. KAZ and HYDE are as unique as all of the rest of us are. i believe this, and i believe everyone views things a bit differently. we can learn much from listening to all that people have to say, good or bad, whether we agree or not. i apologize if i offended anyone with my wee bit of humor. i believe i said the same things when that issue of Monthly VAMPS came out, but whatever.
as to Life on Mars..i really don't understand why there isn't a full radio rip playing in my ear, but i'll have the disc in hand in 2 weeks and i can listen to my heart's content. yay for pre-ordering! XD my response to the preview tells me i'm really going to enjoy this one, it may become my favorite until the album is released. hard to say just yet. i know that i have enjoyed LoM and Evanescent already more than i did IGKSN. (it felt a bit disjointed to me.) Trouble was fun, but not serious enough for my mood of late. Time Goes By is special to me because it's release date was the 1 year anniversary of my mom's death. that may seem gruesome, but listen to it from that viewpoint sometime. LOVE ADDICT was a lot of fun too. i have pretty high hopes for this album. somehow i think it will be all about the awesome kind of music those 2 talented men can really produce. it seems, from what they've said and the glimpses shown in the last few issues of Monthly VAMPS, they have been working very hard to make this be an example of what they want this band to be. i can't wait to see and hear it, and especially live!! XDDD
