Roentgen is like hyde's version of David Sylvian 'Secrets of the Beehive' era. I remember hyde saying that was his most listened to album at one point? That's why hyde hasn't done it again. If you didn't already know that than you should listen to it. Sometimes you can hear hyde's singing voice in him alot. It kinda helps you understand hyde's singing influence. For sure it's got to be David Sylvian and Morrie who hyde sings like. Maybe some Baki from Gastunk thrown in....
If you only listen to Japanese music then you kind of are missing out on alot really... FAITH is good and it's also like a 'concept album' which makes it so easy to listen and all the more enjoyable to analyse, ectera.
The only thing that bothers me is hyde still has his English translated for him? Surely he can write into English by himself now. Didn't he write his lyrics himself in early L'Arc like 'All Dead' without aid? No J,Rie,Anis or L.Hobday to help translate or advise? If ken can write his Engrish by himself hyde should also be able enough.
I mean, I love My First Last but someone called Rie..? forget the last name at the moment, translated it for him. I'm not saying that makes it bad I just wonder how his English is now? Since he is one of the top 3 artists who can actually sing in English and have been since the 90's.
Anyway I bet hyde was present for the shooting of the naked models for the lyric's booklet XD
and cool twist to the story. So BEAST basically means girls. Quite a Sensual album. Awesome!

Actually, there's something I just started wondering. You know how in the official booklets, there will be little Japanese text under the English lyrics so Japanese fans can, of course, understand it? Do those translate out pretty much the same as the English or are there some words that might translate slightly differently or gain a slightly different connotation as a result?
EDIT - Also, just saw some scans of the inner-booklet. The pictures of HYDE and K.A.Z are really cool. I'm not going to complain about the girls in it, because I know that's a battle I won't win, but I will complain about how... blocky they look =/ - The pictures of the girl in the first album had this really creepy feel. This one's... don't. Just don't. But I like how they're maintaining a continuous story. It's really interesting... somehow. But more importantly, the first two pages feature two women touching each other and being the Yuri fanatic I am, I'm going to pleasure myself. Nah, I kid. But I will say that despite their rather disgusting mannerisms*, at least they're not a complete eyesore or wearing clothing that would MAKE them a complete eyesore. But still... wait a minute!
ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT GIRLS?
*Just so you know, "disgusting" refers to the slutty behavior, not the homoerotic (for women) activity. Because

I will look into this a bit later. It's an interesting question. I was kind of looking at the faith album one time and it seemed to match really well...I might need a magnifying glass for these BEAST Japanese translations, though XD The album is in my car right now so I'll have to look later as I am breakfasting and catching up on world events at the mo :)

As a member, I wouldn't do it especially in a forum. It's against the Fan Club rules.

I don't think you should share it. It is VA and its the FC meaning it's not for everyone to share. If you share it privately then its your business but to post it publicly could get VA removed. There's a reason it's a Fan club after all.

Despite my comment being far removed from the topic of BEAST, I do feel it's necessary to alert you to the ridiculousness of being negative and judgmental over women's sexuality. As for the lyrics, what a hot mess, haha. I was really surprised to read the lyrics to these songs because it doesn't match up too well with Hyde's pronunciation. I guess that's what you get with a second-language speaker. It confuses me to know that Hyde had English consultants and recorded this in the U.S. but produced such a result. Well, you gave it a shot, Hyde. The music is still great! And Hyde's voice is in top form. Better luck next time!
