I'm short and also tend to lose my balance easily. Heat also negatively affects me and it is already toasting up here in San Deigo. If you were even THINKING about coming to the west coast shows, perhaps you want to stay home....lol...jk. (07-12-2009, 09:24 AM)superJENNY Wrote: I TOUCHED HYDE'S SHOULDERS AND KAZ'S ARMS! LOL im REALLY short too so if i dont get somewhere up front i have no chances whatsoever of seeing anything but in order to get up front you have to go through all the pushing and shoving so its sorta a lose/lose situation for me lol Oh heat bothers me too if i get too hot i get a horrible headache so standing in line all day is going to be *fun* lol RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - youngsango13 - 07-12-2009 Wow! I'm getting so excited for Las Vegas! I'm glad you guys posted the prices and the items! Thank you! ^^ I have a summer job right now and have a big amount of money, but I think I may go broke in Vegas @.@ XD By any chance, did they have a purple shirt? ^^; And the set list... OMG I'm so happy Hyde played some of his solo stuff ^.^ RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Haidoist - 07-12-2009 x_______x I tried to sleep more but I can't. Does anyone else feel that the insanity of the fans kind of ruined the concert a little? I feel like I missed out on A LOT because of all the crazy moshing... I somehow managed to survive in the 2nd row middle, but seriously come on! Pushing everyone and freaking out is not going to make the concert more enjoyable! I really just wanted to listen and watch and maybe dance a little (jumping etc). I'm still blown away, but I also feel kind of sad... I feel like I missed out on A LOT because of all the crazy moshing... -------------------- i was worrying about this. like cathb and tracy, i can't take the jostle or the heat, plus i have arthritis head to toe. was gonna just go for further back, but it sounds like there was a lot of pushing period. i suppose too much excitement. as to heat west coast, it's gonna be in the 90s here and probably in Baltimore too, all week. our weather is pretty similar. and being a coastal/harbor city, guaranteed to be humid enough to be drenched pretty quickly. too bad we couldn't do this in the spring or fall, just from that standpoint, mind you. see you in Baltimore. try to get some rest. thanks for the reports! ![]() RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - Mme. I'm guessing your headaches are because your blood sugar's low or you're dehydrated. Getting enough protein is better for steadying your blood sugar than sugary stuff (unless you have some medical condition, then of course, listen to your doctor). Don't wait too long in between eating, and drink water often, for the 48 hours before the concert, and I bet it will improve your headaches. For myself, I'm afraid of energy crash. Hopefully, the music will feed me like the lifeblood, and make me invincible. ![]() RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - yukifairy - 07-12-2009 (07-12-2009, 11:33 AM)Mme. (now i now about how much money to bring inside :D) I very much agree with the heat issue and the advice. people should drink plenty of liquids and eat properly. (lol right now where I'm at its already 92 degrees outside and its only 11am (its going to get to at least 103 today D:) RE: AFTER THE CONCERT! - MadSerena - 07-12-2009 (07-12-2009, 09:24 AM)superJENNY Wrote: EDIT: D: NO GIFT BOX? Does anyone else feel that the insanity of the fans kind of ruined the concert a little? I feel like I missed out on A LOT because of all the crazy moshing... It is sad... that your greatest memory of this will be the pushing and shoving and moshing. Well... cheer up, Haidoist, you'll get ur second chance to enjoy in Baltimore. I'm seriously hoping it is a bit calmer. Though, obviously there are 100's attending the shows that aren't on this forum, and they won't hear our cry for "sanity" at the concerts. Thanks for the post. I now know I'm not trying for the front in Baltimore, I'm just gonna concentrate on the meet and greet. If we actually get to stand a table width apart from them for a moment... who cares where you are at in the concert. Question... Who was doing the pushing and shoving? Was it guys or girls? younger or older? Or was it just everyone? What is truly sad... is that concerts like this that I've been to (general admission), the pushing comes from the fans who lined up late, but still expect to get up front. That sucks, they show up like an hour before the show, enter the hall and bully their way to the front squeezing out ppl who have been there since dawn. These fans could be the nicest ppl in line, but when "push comes to shove" they become monsters. |
