I submitted "events" for the Portland show to all of the ones that had someplace to submit an event, but none of them are showing the VAMPS show on their calendars. Icon_crying

:-/ Damn, I really don't know how this things work, here in Mexico the artist manager or himself has to send a press kit, most of the times, the promise of an exclusive whatever nails the whole thing.

Events is not enough...that would only make the calendar. What we want is for it to make the news. So, we need to make VAMPS newsworthy. I think of all of the Japanese singers/bands, Hyde is the one most likely to crossover into American charts, etc. THAT is the story. That and the appeal of Japanese bands to begin with.

I am sure VAMPS has a press kit, however it's really going to be fan appeal/demand that makes them newsworthy. In my opinion anyway.

You are probably right, unfortunately around media (and a lot of other enterprises) the selection of characters/info depends a lot on the criteria/mood of the editor-in-chief/info-chairman. Sometimes bands get covered because the niece of the reporter or whomever gets to make the choice is in love with the guitarist or something like that X-D

Anyway... anyone has addresses? I want to send letters/mails! :-D

Let's start w/the links above.

It can be as easy as asking, "Can you tell me about the group VAMPS?"

If you want to post multiple posts, do it from different places, in case they check IP addresses.

Also, maybe we can all do searches for Hyde +vamps +"K.A.Z." on something like Google news. I wonder how many times it would take for it to appear in the "Most often searched" category?
