I just got a response from Otakon (I had asked a question about picking up badges), and this was part of the reply:
"We will be having an expedited pre-reg line specifically for people who have tickets to the VAMPS show, if you'd like to take advantage of that. Basically, you show your ticket or ticket confirmation for the concert and we put you in a much shorter line for your badge. :)"
ETA: I just wrote and asked for a few more details on the panel passes (and about the Sonar Tweet)...I'll let you guys know if I hear anything back. (I also tried calling Otakon, but only got the voice mail :\)

Just reading down all the posts and all the confusion and unanswered questions, and ideas and opinions over needing badges to get special passes... and then to read this.*lol*

Is it safe to assume it would be held at the Sonar?
If so that's perfect!
It would really be sad if it were held somewhere else...
yet another thing to pull us out of the concert line.

I just noticed that on their website. So either:
A) They're wrong
B) They released information too soon
C) They released information at right time but Ai/VAMPS USA/Otakon is slow to update
This would be great for the fans who can't go to Otakon. All these plan changes are getting confusing.
So Q&A at Otakon and autograph session at Sonar?

Here is Otakon's response (I asked if the meet & greet/autograph session is going to be held at Otakon or Sonar, if the passes were going to be given at Sonar, and if they were considering opening up the pre-reg lines any earlier):
"Pre-reg will not begin any earlier - we can't do it because we won't be ready, I don't even arrive in Baltimore until noon on Thursday, lol. :)
As for the meet-and-greet, you will need your badge and your ticket from the concert. I have no idea where it's being held, because I think the location will be a secret to anyone who didn't go to the concert, but it IS an Otakon cross-promotion and will be for people with badges only."
Not much help, really
I'm thinking that VAMPS will do a meet & greet at Sonar and then they'll also have a panel at Otakon. But I don't know.

I think it's legit. They're probably doing whatever they can to sell more tickets
And if it were to be held inside the club, then..like..how would it work? We would have to obviously stand in line for it, go in, then go right back out and line up for the show?
But I'm not gonna try. The fans who aren't going to Otakon deserve this, so I'm just gonna go pick up my badge first, then head up to Sonar right after. I just really hope I can get a special pass for the Friday panel

Ok so maybe I can go to the sonar signing at 2 (won't take more than 5 minutes to meet them I'm sure), then get back to line until 5, get my badge and return for the concert. ^^

I was thinking of doing the same thing (assuming I can get in to the meet & greet, of course)...although I'm wondering if we'd actually go back in line afterwards, or if we would just stay inside Sonar and wait for the show. I wonder how many they'll let in?

So will there being a signing/meet & greet at Sonar AND Otakon? Or just Sonar for the autograph/etc. and Otakon for Q&A/panel? Or do we have no idea what's going on yet? |D

hey from what i read on the twitter the 2pm meet and greet and signing is a sonar thing so seems vamps is doing both that and the otakon panel as well
the sonar replied to my tweet saying "They are only doing the Meet N Greet for an hour, so we figure 200-300 people will get in"
thats alloooot of people but I wonder how many tickets were sold so far xD
