I guess this less expensive pilot version is to hold us over until the high quality version or something, but I wonder if all the photos will be the same in the two versions...
I wondered when they were going to do a new calendar. I keep checking for it.
I hope it will be different things in both versions.....has visions of Hurry Christmas running through head......
Thank you Bebe ^_^. According to the vampsxxx.com site, it says the calendar will be released on April next year ?_? (check the news section). (fingers crossed is cheaper than last year TOT)

so, Bebe, the high quality photobook will release in April as well perhaps, since it said it could be bought in a set with the calendar? April is a bit late for a 2011 calendar, don't you think?
i know the expense of the current one! i finally bought one a few months back when Celga was trying to get rid of their stock i guess. was much less than if i had gotten it from them to start with somehow. lol

Yes I guess the high quality photobook probably comes out in April too...
It does seem late for a calendar, but it really says on the site that the calendar starts from April next year ;_;

the Pilot photobook is now up on CDJapan. and reasonably priced too. so it might be worth it if the final product won't be out until April 2011. i guess it was really just a *snack* to tide us all over until then. ![Icon_blaugh Icon_blaugh](http://vamps.baka-koneko.com/images/smilies/icon_blaugh.gif)

fortunately, it means one less major expense by a L'Arc member for the end of the year!

it may be like our "School Year" calendars here in the states. our school year starts in September, so those specialty calendars do too, but seems like unless it is a class schedule type, they might go through the entire following year...? i could be wrong about that. haven't had to get any of those in a LOOOONG time. ![Icon_blaugh Icon_blaugh](http://vamps.baka-koneko.com/images/smilies/icon_blaugh.gif)
but doesn't the Japanese "Year" for school, new jobs post graduation etc start in April? or am i getting my J-dramas all messed up? ![Icon_lol Icon_lol](http://vamps.baka-koneko.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
if so, that would explain why picking April to start instead of March for example. o.O?

Oh, thanks for the info ^_^! Here in Peru the school year begins in march ^_^! but I had never heard of a school calendar, outside classrooms (like for mass sale) I think your drama intel is right :D I've seen that too I guess Asians are really focused on their jobs-school to sell those kinds of calendars ^^"

well, it is purely a guess on my part, but based on what i have seen and used here in the states. i think that most countries probably have a specific time for things to START but it might not all be at the same time. many businesses in the US start their calendar year July 1 for example, but others start January 1. and the school year starts the end of August usually, but by September 1.
in Japan they are more nationally organized and it all starts together. makes a lot of sense to me.
i guess i just needed to fabricate a rational reason for publishing a yearly calendar starting April 1 for my own understanding. it may not be exactly right, but it sounds pretty damn good, eh? [my secret skill in life has been to be able to pull rational explanations and definitions for things sorta out of thin air, or if you prefer "out of my ass", as my son calls it. it is an inheritable gene i have discovered.
