RE: Roseland Ballroom - ~R.A.I.N.~ - 10-26-2010
I went to the concert at Roseland, and It was my first time being there, I was completely blown away.. I love this venue, I hope VAMPS returns again next year, and plays here.. This venue was perfect.. The more room for Moshing had me worried too... I was thrown around all over the place... Not Fun... :( Barely got to see much of Hyde, (Because I'm short) at least I could see K.A.Z. from where I was.. I heard that Hyde cryed during "Sweet Dreams" but I couldn't see him, I do know that I was upset and started crying even more so when they played the song, lol I got a quick glance from K.A.Z. then again maybe he wasn't actually looking at me. Any concert tips?, so I'm better prepared next time, I know It's kind of pathetic but This was my first concert ever. I wanted to get to the front row.. :/ So how early should I have gotten there?

I got there on Thursday night and I was at the barrier; some of the people in front of me got there on Wednesday so... you have to get there pretty early, usually. :x

My friend Ariel and I saw that, and were actually crying during the whole song. We didn't know whether he was really crying, or just wiping at his nose or something, but the song definitely gave out a heartfelt emotion. I hope he was alright, though.
We were in the back, right in front of the tech systems. We had a perfect view. And I'm 5'2''. My advice as to where to be to see everything at a concert, and be comfortable, is location.

Hey, I'm going to a concert at Roseland in about a month and was just wondering about what queuing is like. Has anyone camped out overnight here, does the venue even allow it? I def want barrier for my show and just wondering what the entire queuing situation is like. From the previous posts/pictures it looks a little rough since it's right on a street and all.
Gonna try to contact the venue too, but though I'd ask. Thanks!

Normally the venue doesn't allow such thing, but fans do that anyway If you realy want to do that pretty bad, all that I will suggest you is that don't go alone.
In my case I arrived @ 6 am at the venue and in the end got a nice spot, so I think that it will depend the artist. Because a Nickelback concert will be different to a 30 seconds to mars line.
And a j-rock concert is completely different to an American rock concert

Jrock concert lines are crazy TOT. You must know what kind of fans the show you are going to has, that way you can determine how early they will be or if they will just go the same day early morning. ^_^ Good luck.
