I'll be going to the performance as well !
I'll be bringing my little sister ( since it's open to all ages )
I owe her she wants to go xD But then these things are rowdy
so I'll look after her xD
I want to go to the meet and greet up in Seattle too but
there is no way I can make it back in time for the concert haha (:

out here I was surprised when they announce their concert
in Portland Oregon :3
I went down to California for Ax09 and got some advertisement
cards from my friend who's a promoter for the VAMPS tour
I live by Fubon ( Portland) So I might pass around some there
when I have time :]

care to tell how old is your sister? i'm trying to help (by e-mail) a 12 year old local girl to go, she is of chinese origin...maybe if a girl like her is also going to the show, she'll try to convince her parents to let her go (with an adult of her family, of course)

Yay for more Portland people!
I went to Fubonn recently and put some VAMPS fliers up on their big bulletin board. I was planning on going back this weekend - I'm about to receive a LOT more of the little postcard fliers so I was going to put some more on the bulletin board and maybe check out some of the little stores in there and see if I could leave some there.
I don't think this concert should get too rowdy. I know there's some younger people coming to this one - I hope we can all act like human beings and look out for everyone's safety.
Also, I'm always happy to meet more Jrock fans! I don't know many in person! :)

About Jrock fans in Oregon: i was looking for videos of Hawthorne Theater in YouTube and i was pretty surprised to see Dir en Grey playing there, in front of a decent number of fans.
Then, i found this group in MySpace

I am a person who *wants* to go to the Portland concert, after the Seattle concert. Anyone going down from Seattle, or north of Seattle - maybe Vancouver, B.C.? - then back through Seattle, after? I really want to see them at least twice!!

Yeah we do get Dir en grey here, but they're the only jrock band that comes to Portland. I was going to go the last time they were here, just to support the genre, but... yeah I didn't. Dir en grey really isn't my thing. I'd go see MUCC though for sure, if they ever came here. I saw them in Seattle on the Taste of Chaos Tour and they were awesome.
I was really hoping the VAMPS shows in Portland and Seattle would prove that there *is* an interest in Jrock in the Pacific Northwest, and maybe more bands would show us some love up here. But if they don't do well, the opposite will probably happen.

I'm coming! I was going to go with one of my friends but she can't make it up, saaad. Instead I'm taking my little sister... who i have fully converted into a jrock fan, go me! :D And i might drag another friend along.. depends on if he gets shipped off to go fight a fire or not....
