Handed only a few fliers out today at Japan Day in NYC, mostly to my friends, but they each took a couple and said they had other friends who they knew were into rock and might be interested, so I felt that was productive!!
On Friday, I also pinned a flier up to the bulletin board in the foreign language area of the community college I'm taking a summer class at. I'm curious to see if it will actually still be up when I go tomorrow, guess I'll find out. XD;;
I have yet to hit up Hot Topic/FYE/music stores or Kinokuniya/Book Off/that other book store I never remember the name of in NYC. I need to do that one day soon...

OMG Guys GREAT news!!
I was at hot topic today and they were playing LOVE ADDICT!!!! I was like O_O OMG I asked the girl who worked there how long had they been playing VAMPS, she was like O_o who? lol i was like THIS SONG!! She was like uhhh, i dont know who they are >_< But still she let me leave a few flyers on the back band board they have and on their counter!! Its soo cool! I also infod her on VAMPS so when someone asks she can give them the info XD (I'm having such luck i love it XD)
So maybe we ought to hit more hot topics! I dont know if they play the same music in all of them O_o but maybe we can try! I hate living in a place where no concert is taking place >_< I feel like there's not much I can do! But here in Austin people are used to traveling for bands.. so I keep trying here too!

That is great news! I know there is a Hot Topic at one of the malls in a neighboring city. I'm hoping to hit it this weekend. I left some at another Japanese grocery yesterday.

I think the hot topics are a great way to advertise. the employees at the one near me are so open to jrock and were enthusiastic about me leaving the fliers. I still have some fliers left; so next time I'm at the mall I'll leave some more.
I feel the same as you Jazmin. I don't live in a state even near the concerts. Michigan is kind of a midwest state and kinda east coast. But regardless; the closest concerts to here are NYC and Baltimore. So if people go they have to be willing to travel kinda far. But I'm leaving fliers anyways.

I think flyers are good even if you are in state that does not have a live. People network and someone may tell a friend in a state that does have VAMPS coming.

Got my promo postcard thingys today, though I wish I got some posters, now I really gotta make some. I'm glad too, now I can go put them out here and there. I do wanna hit up Hot Topic, then playing "LOVE ADDICT" in the store is just super awesome!

Another promotion place idea.... I finally got my shirt back from the printers. It has a large picture of VAMPS on the front and my flier on the back. So I can now start wearing it while I'm out running errands.
Our county fair is coming up at the end of this month and I plan to spend one day walking among the crowds and handing out fliers. Plus local radio stations also broadcast from the fair. I plan to harass them to play some music while I am there.
Do you think J would provide a couple of copies of Love Addict? I'm not sure how they would react to burnt copies........I suppose I could buy a couple more myself but I'm getting stretched thin here.

I was just checking the New York Anime Festival website (http://www.nyanimefestival.com/) and was surprised to see on the front page - an ad for VAMPS! Clicking the image leads you here: http://www.mediumatlarge.net/2009/04/hyde-and-kaz-play-nyc.html and...wow. I'm just surprised, I didn't know they had anything up there. But that's awesome! :D
