If your computer comes with, Power DVD has a screenshot-capture feature.

Nope, I don't have Power DVD. I would just look something up, but I remember searching for a video screencap program awhile ago and never finding one that worked. Meh. D:

You can just use VLC Player. It's free and you probably have it already.
Has anybody zeroed in on a way to get the region free version?

This may be a lot of trouble to make a snap shot but if you transfer a dvd clip to video format which is really easy and I'll link you to the free program if need be, then upload it to youtube you can capture the image by pressing the prts scrn button.

hey guys. long time no see. been watching as i recuperated from some big surgery last couple of months. long story, but i won't be traveling to see the lads this year.
glad to see you have all been busy preparing for the next whirlwind of activity. 
but... i got one of the region-free limited edition/1st press whatever VAMPS Live USA 2009 dvds. i had gotten this one from HMV as i got a better price and i ordered it immediately after they went on sale. all of the VAMPS dvds i have purchased, as part of the lmtd ed cds or the 2008 dvd, have been ALL Region. and i have gotten all except this last one at CDJapan. don't understand why there were 2 versions, and the region 2's should have been used for domestic(ie Japan) use only i would have thought, if they were gonna make 2. surely they could tell by shipping address when something was an overseas purchase.
sorry to say, there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to this. but i would suggest trying to check with whoever people order from in future to make sure you're getting the right one.
and no Bill, being away a bit (MONTHS!!) has not changed my ability to write reams about nothing. lo l

Hope you are feeling great and are fully recovered after surgery.
I don't know about the region of my DVDs, never had trouble with one of them, not from L'arc, Hyde, Gackt, Miyavi or VAMPS, I think my player might be multi region?
And... what's your opinion on the DVD? :-D
BTW I'm not seeing VAMPS this year either ;_; We might as well start a club X-D

They're not deleted; they're in an archive forum, which is probably hve not been receiving notification.
